Batdr Update 12/2/22 details (+secret santa lost one?)

So just little bit ago a batdr update launched called "Winter Abyss." It's a seasonal update, that if enabled (in the main menu, under controls) a series of (Christmas-centric) holiday/winter items/decorations appear in the studio.

What shows up are: Christmas trees of all sizes with collectable presents underneath. Many if not all character models gain Santa hats (including baby Benders). Strings of lights and garland, and in some places an instrumental of the song Silent Night plays.

It also lightly snows outside in the city, and with all the added decorations it becomes an absolutely enchanting inky winter wonderland hell.

BUT while collecting presents I encountered a mysterious lost one who popped up from the ground, giggling goofily, and scampering around on all fours, adorned with a Santa hat and hauling a sack. He's quite quick and my computer is so laggy I couldn't manage to get a picture of him. But I swear he's there.

He pops up, runs around a bit, then pops away. But it looks like the sack on his back if interactable in some way (it's got the sparkles) if you can catch up to him of course. Have no idea what he does though.

And the presents that ARE collectable, I'm not entirely sure exactly you do with them. Which they could be related to the secret Santa lost one. Obviously the lost one and the presents do something, just not sure what yet.

Secret Santa Lost One Confirmed

Alrighty, so I mentioned in my last post about encountering a giggly lost one on all fours scampering around with a Santa hat and a sack on his back, while running around in the Batdr winter seasonal update.

So after some trial and error I finally got him to pop up again after collecting several presents (I am unsure of what exactly makes him spawn, but for me I've got him to spawn 3 different times by collecting lots of presents, so it might be related)

While collecting presents if you hear a goofy giggle, he's showed up somewhere in the area you are in. (It's very distinct giggle similar to the giggle of the bucket sock puppet creature easter egg.) Chase after him until he stops running, then hit the pack on his back. He will then begin to run again, and once again you chase him until he stops, whack his pack, then rinse and repeat. After enough times, he'll finally go down.

Once killed this guy drops a TON of slugs and when you loot his body you gain a winter hat. Enter into the menu and voilà-!

Audrey is now sporting her very own Santa hat!
