psa: you do not have to love and respect your parents if they do not love and respect you too. you are not owned by your mother or father, and if you have been wrongly treated by them, you do not have to keep them in your life. people need to stop hating on those who openly admit that they don’t love their abusive parent(s). just because they gave you life, does not mean they own your life.

Happy National Coming out day to all my Dreamers! Embrace the gay, y’all!🏳️🌈 You are absolutely perfect the way that you are, there is nothing wrong with you. Being queer does not make you lesser than anyone else, it doesn’t make you gross/perverted/wrong, etc. being queer is not a phase and you are allowed to be fluid in your sexuality, you are allowed to explore who you are and figure yourself out, you are allowed to embrace the existence in which you were born into.
And to those who live in an environment where you can’t come out or the consequences are far too much, you are most certainly not alone, there will come a day where you’ll be free, it does get better, there is so much more.
I love you all so much 🌈♥️

The very notion of “coming out” is dependent upon the idea that being cisgender and straight is natural. This, of course, limits how we participate in the fixed narrative of coming out: we come out once, our lives improve, and then we move on. In reality, we are constantly coming out. I opened up about my identity over 15 years ago, when I was 8 years old. I didn’t have the language of “queer” or “trans woman,” so I had to use more descriptive language instead (“I’m a girl”).
I didn’t come out so much as express who I already was. There was no barrier to break through, only an experience to describe. Now in 2018, I still come out almost every day: as queer, trans, rural, a nerd, a radical, a writer, or an organizer. We delimit ourselves by setting a single narrative for coming out, when in reality, it’s a lifelong process. Every coming out story is different and every one deserves to be listened to.

Sorry about the absence!
Things have been really hectic so operations at Binderhelp have been very slow. Please remember that this is funded 100% by Oliver and I, we are trying our best to manage this on top of buying a new car.
