with @nimagine​ as lead writer and @couchtaro​ as lead artist, we are excited to present our AU: Donnie Gets Shredded. relish the suffering as we throw this family into worse and worse situations for character development. there’s gonna be laughs, angst, battle nexus shenanigans, and a lot of guessing about how rise’s mystic system works.

*Baxter Stockman voice* Hey guys! Welcome back to your regularly scheduled Shredded Donnie AU content!

Taro’s been working for several months (rip) on a comic of the opening scene of Donnie Gets Shredded. (You can see a preview of the first half here!) She showed some folks on discord a couple of preview panels and someone said that the blood reminded them of chocolate milk, so…

Don’t be decieved by the flashy title, most of what Lead Artist Taro draws is jokes in MS Paint. We can’t wait to share the spoilerier ones with you ;)

Thanks for your interest, patience, and support! Because there’s so much going on in this fic, we’re getting the rough draft finished before starting to post chapters to make sure that continuity is solid. We’ve got over 35,000 words of hurt and hijinks so far (give it up for Nim, they’re amazing!) and we just finished up some important scenes!

I had a few days off last week so I made this little animatic for fun! Many thank yous to my animation pals for lending their voices. I was going to just have text instead, but being able to add sounds effects and voices was really fun! I hope all of my fellow Rise fans are doing okay this week, I know times are tough but there is always hope! Love to you all.

Rottmnt is my favorite show on tv and in the universe. Sadly, Nick has decided to force season two to end early, cut season three and is now only doing the movie on Netflix. If you can please support the show and request it on Netflix! This show needs more seasons!!

Rise of the TMNT is so good I can't stop watching it lol. Definitely needs a third season... please Nickelodeon!
