warframe Obben
obben is/was one of the smarter children amongst the tenno
a non-combatant operator.
much like the operator behind limbo he had a knack for science. his field of interest lies with engineering. although most tenno go into battle Obben is not so good at the murder, shure he likes beating the **** out of corpus and grineer just as much as the anyone else but he is much better at building things.
he will have an event similar to the kuva fortress. he will have a you help him in may large projects. the first of which will be to get him a ship. bigger than a liset, bigger than your orbiter. not as big as those grineer ships you see in the intro of every mission. this vessle will be called the ironclad.
this ship will be the hub for all the goodies and missions your big brother tenno will provide. (he entered cryostasis much later than the other tenno, therefor he is older than the player)
also depending on the planet the ironclad is most near Obben will commend on the local faction or a related syndicate. like he will state his disgust for the grineer and their sloppy designs. (why are you fixing boken bodies if you could just do it right the first time!?) or compliment the corpus on their efficiency in producing large numbers of moa but scoff at their ridiculus beliefs.
his missions will revolve around you clearing a landing zone for him to gather resources, evacuate stranded vessles or plan a siege on a corpus factory.
other missions will be you protecting a stolen factory from corpus and grineer invaders. why? because Obben is busy with construction of relays! who else will lead construction on the tenno’s home other than a tenno.
further services inside Obbens ship are the weapons for Vulcan and other warfames. he will offer you different rare blueprints every day. but this must be paid in resources.
the weapons he provides are:
-an arm mounted cannon that charges a plasma bolt that has chance to blind enemies or you can tap rappidly to fire a volley of painfull sparks.
-a hammer and shield. what is a gunsmith without his trusty hammer. his shield is a rather robust design more looking like a riot shield other than the more rounded designs of previous weapons of its kind.
-a gun staff with the function to lob energy grenades. these either explode over time or are triggered by damaging the person whom they are attached to or by pressing the secondairy fire button and having a more controlled explosion. all grenades launched will explode by this method.
-throwing knives that home in on nearby targets. increase range to further enhance their ability to steer mid-air towards your enemies. makes it easier to aim (by letting the projectiles do it for you)
-an electic flail. essentially a short range whip with a lot of impact damage. electrally charged. but the twist is that every time the flail hits a target it will fire projectiles in random directions. (think of it as a 360 shotgun) to help you weaken grouped up enemies.
Obben wants to improve technology so he needs warframe, sentinel and weapon components to do so. trade warframe, sentinel or weapon components to get slag. (knowing you will return this stuff to him you get to keep it as a sign that you owe him one)
he can provide from his own collection of upgrades and items for your orbiter, archwing, liset and his own giants. in return for slag. these transactions are arranged by his own cephalon called David.

warframe Vulcan
Vulcan
the builder, a combat engineer
vulcan provides a tactical advantage in defence, traversal and firepower.
his first ability is deploys a Surge drone. this drone will have one of 2 possible uses
-use it on yourself or an ally to boost their speed and regenerate energy over time (but the drone has low health)
-send the drone to the enemy upon contact the drone will explode with a wide spread. slowing down all hostile caught in the blast.
his second ability is support drone. this deploys a drone that will have the option to either stay with you or one of your allies, rapidly healing all damage and boosting shields or put it on the ground and have a local medical station that heals allies within range. can also be used to revive (has slightly more health than surge drone)
his third ability is sentry drone. this has the choice to eighter aid one of your allies to boost their firepower or be put on the ground to draw enemy fire and thin out the enemy. (advice to put 2 sentries  next to a suppord drone)
Vulcan unleashes his masterpiece in his arsenal with his fourth ability. he deploys all three drones on himself and combines them into a shielded minigun. he is given unlimited ammo and doesn’t need to reload. his shields are doubled and regenerate quicker (until he runs out of energy off course.
appearance. unlike most warframes Vulcan is very industrial. not as blocky as the corpus and not as smoothed out as the grineer. he is very utilitarian. every part has. a function. and he resembles more modern militairy armor. on his shoulderblades are two pods where the constructors for his drones are and has some additional moving parts on his lower arms. a few sturdy wires stick out underneath the heavy platework. (he looks a bit like a spartan from halo and his helmet looks more robotic.) he would be following the philosophy of “function over from” and his collors are very muted colors of green and grey. he would have very dull lighting and the metalic elements on his body wouldn’t be very shiny because they are smudged with grease.
his signature weapons will be in another post called warframe Obben (the operator behind this tactical guy)

warframe quest idea
the title of said quest would be: vulcans keep
the quest starts off with you getting contacted by the arbiters of hexis. they tell you that you, a tenno of trustworthy skill, is to answer an emergency signal from pluto. they tell you that it is part of a solem oath they swore long ago.
ordis is curious but is told upon arrival on the surface that the location is hidden and only a member of the arbiters of hexis may guide you to the location. you are now under complete radio silence. the lotus would be informed by ordis in the meantime. you desend deep into the ice caverns of pluto. deeper than you ever gone before. there will be no evac.
as fight off the corpus walkers who display very odd behaviour and step past the broken bodies of the corpus you have reached the point were even teh arbiters may not join you. a massive steel and concrete door. very primitieve and very old in design. you solve the lock of the door with your operator and enter. you traverse the industrial looking hallways. the design is like that of the tenno but lacks a certain beauty to it, as if the one building this place couldn’t be bothered to make it look hospitable. countless containers with ancient writing on them (english, mostly russian and some japanese) materials and tools.
once you reached your objective, a large control panel you are greeted by the cephalon David. he sounds distressed. ranting on about his making being out of reach. that it is his fault that you needed to come and that he attacked you in his blind panic.
after calming down the cephalon explains he was created by a rogue tenno called Obben. obben was smarter than most children and earned a spot between the gunsmiths and engineers of the warframes. he was very good at controling his emotions and therefor was accepted by the orokin. he still had to undergo the same treatment the others recieved but he was granted freedom to explore the archives of the empire. there he made a discovery amongst the oldest and most forgotten parts of the complex. a giant infested creature. its skin like armor. its body like the hull of a ship. its head small and empty. it was bloodied inside the container and from the looks of it the container looked not much better from the centuries of neglect.
as Obben learned about the direction the tenno were going he knew that if he could provide an alternative to the warframes he could save his brothers and sisters. the technology was there, the tools were there to mold the infested flesh and fuse it to machinery and now he found the needed materials to start his plan. under the guidens of his most trusted friend, a dax, and some of the gunsmiths and engineers he began construction of project goliath.
David expains that his sole purpose in existance is to oversee the inventory, security and secrecy of this facility. a massive tunnel system beneath the ice. out of sight from anyone not looking. David tells you as you move acroding to his instructions that he was forced to hold off the corpus invaders by causing a local cave in. unfortunately over the long period of time he spend in isolation the ice had shifted ever so slightly and his local cave in turned into a catastrophic chain reaction that tore the base appart. you must find a device that is store deep inside the complex to remove the rubble and reach Obben who now rests in  “a dreamless slumber”
as project goliath reached the end of its first stage, the prototype called Colossus they began to test it. so far everything worked acording to plan. they had a weapons platform that could slay the sentients and any other foe with ease.
they began the construction of a better, stronger and faster version. this one was given the orokin gold in the confidence that once it would be shown to the seven, the leaders of the orokin, it would go into production and further improvements would be made. but no amount of gold and glitter could hide the fatal flaw both machines had.
the automated defences are activated by the crumbling ruins. you carry David to the given destination and reach a large room filled with tubes, cables and an odd stench. before you stand what at first appears to be a giant warframe. about half the size of a liset.
“tenno you must leave your flesh golem and enter this metal husk. let your power bleed into its muscle and breath death into its core”
as the operator you take control of Colossus and stomp your way through the facility. via cargo lift you reach the caverns. David tells you he can no longer hack the moa from the corpus and you have to destroy everyone in your path. as you throw crewmen at their allies you reach the part of the complex where your fellow tenno resides.
as congratulations on the scientific breakthroughs project goliath has already produced Ballas visited Obben and presented him with a gilded warfame. it was a design specificly designed to complement the childs talents. “ I thank you for your offer but I am a builder first, a fighter second but don’t think less of me. I am a brother to all other tenno and I would risk, no take my own life if it would save them. but my place is here with the giants. if this project succeeds there will be no need to risk the lives of us children and we can remain here. I’m sorry orokin but i must decline your offer. I will not go to war with the sentients. that will be someone elses job.”
as you reach the special containment area for Obben you leave Colossus behind for it doesn’t fit through the door. unfortunatly the corpus are onto you and David is unable strugling to call for backup from the arbiters of hexis. they are barely getting through the ice. waves of corpus are coming at you and you defend Obben as he slowly but surely awakens.
the day had come that the gunsmiths, engineers and the extra ordinary Tenno would show the seven their official version of project goliath. the golden giant stood lifeless yet intimidated the dax standing guard. another tenno was called. she would not be told how to operate the device and would not be told what it was.
once the girl entered the giants back as if by instict the creature snapped shut and the child bled her void energy into the beast. it took one step and then another. she was given targets and she disposed of them without flaw.
the orokin were impressed. but then came the question. “ tenno you started this project to keep your kind out of the war, yet you asked one of your own to show us how it preforms. is this not just a different take on an aready existing idea. our idea?”  Obben confessed that they were not done. the next phase of their plan was to harness the power of the void by building an engine around a fissure and use it as an infinite supply of power. for even the strongest tenno could not keep the giant alive for very long.
the girl inside the beast heard Obben. she was overcome with the corrupting temptation of power. she felt as if she could do anything as long as she remained inside the giant. she would prove him wrong. this sealed their fate in the ware againts the sentient. she drained herself to keep the beast going and did so until she fainted. they had to break open the monster to pull her out. the golden shame of Obben.
finally Obben awakens and sees you. you nod at one another and he transfers into a warframe of his own. similar in design as his complex. Vulcan is a warframe build for function at the price of form. dul greys and a few hints of dull green
he launches drones to aid you. turrets, boosters and healing pods. you manage to fend off the corpus and they go into retreat. you both rush after them. they were not meant to leave this place alive.
Obben watched as Ballas ransacked his working space and took everything he worked so hard on. once the orokin was done and saw nothing worth taking left (and believe me the only things left were the bare neccesities of life and some dust on the floor) he once againt  offered Obben a warframe. similar to the previous but far less impressive. it looked unfinished and not very reliable. “you better use your talents by finishing what you were meant to do. join your brothers and sisters in battle and DIE there. that is off course what you promised me.” and with a smirk the orokin left.
the trusted dax guided the depressed Obben to another room. a few of his friends he made during his project were there and they had determination and anger in their eyes. behind them stood Collosus and a prototype power source “they’re not going to finish it. and we put to much effort to let it go to waste with the likes of them. we are leaving” and so the arbiters of hexis had found their first members, close allies of the tenno who helped Obben smuggle the ancient and forgotten to the most remote place they could find. allong the way they found others who were inspired by the power and posibility that Obben showed. if one Tenno could achieve this without the orokin then others could to.
as you and Obben race to the surface you see Colossus operational. a corpus had taken control of it. “ tenno you we must overload-” Vulcan/Obben was hit by the arm and the warframe was beyond repair. Obben crawled out of it and had is unable to fight. he points at the node on the giants back. “ overload the engine with void energy. it will kill him from inside!”
after a battle between the operator and colossus the corpus ejects and escapes. vowing to get his hands on that machine again. in the name of profit off course. you carry the weakened Obben outside and a the Arbiters of hexis await you with many corpus in custody. two of them rush to your aid. you hear ordis and Lotus sigh in relief that you returned safely. lotus is most uprised at the mystery tenno. “how did he survive on his own?” one of the arbiters answers “ he walked the true path. the path he made for his own selfless motivations and stayed true to his goal. he walked the path to his full potential.”
it was agreed that Obben would stay with the arbiters of hexis. with their ties to cephalon suda and their own archives they should be able to get Obben well informed about the current situation of the origin system.
at the end of this quest you recieve a reusable blueprint for a Colossus beacon (to summon Colossus into suitable missions and open world areas) the blueprint for Vulcan and accest to build a room in the dojo to build your own giants(up to 4).
this idea was inspired by the colossus from dark sector (he was one of the few things that didn’t make any sort of comeback in warframe) titanfall, the vehicles in the planes of eidolon and the the fact the arbiters of hexis didn’t have a quest of their own. their theme being truth and potential they would have the ultimate gateway to the lore behind warframes. someone who helped build them.
I will make a seperate message detailing my Ideas for the abilities of the Vulcan warframe and the functionality of giants inside warframe.
(ps I hope DKdiamantes or other youtubers would discuss this idea and what it would mean for the lore, OR anyone who could write a way better version of this. I just want to see giant mecht fight okay)

bionicle but it’s dutch
near where I live is the themepark “de efteling” with the fairytales from the brothers grimm, 1001 knights and other folklore. they also add some tales for their own making. the parkshow raveleijn is one of those stories.
it was co written by dutch author Paul van Loon. he is most famous (in the Netherlands at least) for his chilldren’s books Dolfje weerwolfje. (a story about a young boy that grows up being a werewolf. part of his family are also werewolves)
now I shall explain the story off raveleijn and why I bet my kidney that bionicle AT LEAST served as an ispiration.
fist off: the heroes.
bionicle has 6 toa. 5 male and 1 female. each with their own element.
raveleijn has 5 riders. 3 male and 2 female. also each with their own element.
Tumblr media
they also have each an elemental weapon. water has a lance. wood as a crossbow. earth has twin daggers. metal has a disk caster. and fire as a sword.
these five are just like the toa from metru nui because they were not always like this. in the story they are brothers and twin sisters. they just moved into a new home and are rather disconnected with the world around them because everything is still new to them. after a few days they are guided by 5 ravens to a gate. (in the book they thought it lead to another world or time) they become adults in full armor and the ravens turn into black horses. they also were armed with a normal sword.
the toa in metru nui were given 6 stones. they were guided by a map to and ancient temple that turned them from their villager from into their toa form. compete with armor and weapon. or in bionicle G2 how the toa fell from the sky with all their gear except for the artefact that grands them acces to their elemental power.
Tumblr media
then we have the villain and how he interacts with the world. (spoiler warning for the raveleijn book/ tv-show and the 2nd bionicle movie)
in legends of metru nui we have a being that possesses dark powers. and uses the authority of turaga dume to control the city. he has a rahi called nivawk that functions as his eyes and ears that follows the toa. in the first year of bionicle he controlled corrupted rahi, mechanical beasts that form the entire ecosystem, to do his bidding.
Tumblr media
in raveleijn we have a dark mage that deceived and replaced the governor. has a falcon that he uses and controls to seek out the riders. he has also mechanical creatures called “graffers” they have various shapes and sizes. ( in the first version of the park show they had the one that looked like a velociraptor. but in the book and online game they had also ones that were giant wheels, wolves, birds, spiders, and so on.)
Tumblr media
and they both have the older wiser character. in raveleijn they have the former adviser of the real governor that leads a resistance against the city. and in bionicle they have turaga vakama. both have a history with the villain of their story and do whatever they can to help defeat the villain.
then we arrive at the finally of both stories.
in bionicle we get to see the villain (makuta teridax) in his true form.
Tumblr media
in raveleijn we get to see the ultimate weapon (draconicon) being used by the villain in a last attempt of defeating the heroes.
Tumblr media
both require the combined strength of all heros to defeat the big bad.
in the end they also have a bunch of differences, big and small. but don’t think I don’t like it.
as a matter of fact I LOVE IT!
bionicle have both a certain formula. a group of elemental heroes that are related, a mysterious new world. a dark presence that seeks to engulf the world through schemes, monsters and his own power.
I can advise you to watch the bionicle films and read the book of raveleijn (but I’m not certain it comes in English) the raveleijn show (the original version) can be seen on YouTube and you can see the newer version of the show in the efteling. the park is every day of the year open. (no seriously they are EVERY day open, they even wrote it down in front of the entrance) if I do not recommend the tv-show. because dutch actors are rare and not very good in my oppinion. ( I’m not that much of a patriot)
so all I’m trying to say is this:
bionicle fans go check out this story. raveleijn and efteling fans go check out bionicle.
DOEI!

the fate of samurai jack
the one they called jack sought to go back in time and undo the evil that is Aku.
to stop the evil he has spread across this world. I admire his courage, skill, morality. but he is a fool. he saved countless people. often at the cost of his own victory over his nemesis and/ or the way back to the past.
all he people he saved, all the good he did, for over 50 years. it will all cease to exist. he should have avoided making friends and allies. but he made  the fatal mistake to fall in love. because once Aku dies in the past, she to would vanish. the Scotsman and his many daughters would never be born, the heroes that fought so hard to be saved from this menace all disappeared because the past in no longer what it should have been. what has been done can not be undone. the samurai was blinded by his hart, one that was at the right place, and forgot the consequences of his actions would have on the world.
farewell samurai. I hope you can find peace one day.
because you life in a world where no one knows of your action in a time where we most needed you.  50 years of fighting seem to your own parents like all the seconds you could count on your hand. you saw so much and now you have to live in a world where no one else could understand. at least you have the memory of use, and we carry the memory of you.

THE SCARAB GUARDIAN
what happens when you dump a dead human, a dead skakdi and a living scarabax in a burning lab with a lot of energized protodermis?
this guy. armed with two blades that are part of his body and function as shields and a fancy spine/hair thingy on his entire back. and he can breath underwater.(there was a lot more stuff in the lab.
inside a lab on houxia (new xia aka the island of het vortixx) a human soldier and a skakdi guard were having a little dispute that resulted in a fight to the death. both didn’t survive because the fighting broke a lot of bottles with unknown and dangerous chemicals. and those chemicals reacted. a small scarabax looking at the fight was amazed. then the human with all his amor was tossed ontop of the bug. beaking the cage. the beetle rushed to a large tank which he thought would not break from their fighting. he was wrong as both their bleeding and dying bodies crashed into the tank and broke it. the bug fell into the large glowing puddle of protodermis. it grew and grew.
outside a crowd gathered and the scarabax left unnoticed because the crowd was watching in awe at the fire. the bug soon discovered he was a bit different. he was now walking on his hind legs and his other two pair of limbs were also different. he was towering over most of het locals and on his arms were now two sword/shields attached. he fled to the ocean and jumped into the water. filters from the armor of the dead human caused the bug to be able to breath underwater. he was heading towards the only place it could think off. the place where the human in armor got to the planet.
the parts that i like about this moc is the head and het feet. they feel really like they belong on a real bug. well the head really belongs to a bionicle bug. I based the head on pictures of het bionicle movie the legend reborn. because Click the scarabax beetle is just like bionicles version of R2-D2 but cuter and he (or she?) can turn into a shield. so I decited that this beetle would have sword like shields mounted on his wrists. it can speak with the sapient species as well as other scarabax beetles. he is known as the guardian of the gateway, a portal made by humans to travel from world to world without any complex spaceship using fuel. non shall pass unless he pleases that you do.
this takes place a few years after bionicle gen 1
