Ixa! This design, and how it interacts with Kiva’s, as well as the story bits I know, make me wanna skip Agito-Kabuto (already watched Den-O for Heisei Gen) and get to the gothic soap opera vampires already!

Here’s a bit of a different post from my usual things:

Recently, I introduced my friend, @weasleytheemo to tokusatsu through Kamen Rider W. We hung out and watched the first 8 episodes.

Some time after, I asked him a few questions to see what a newbie thinks about a show like this. (I’ll probably ask him again after more and more episodes)

So here are the answers he gave me:

What types of shows and movies do you usually watch?

“A variety of shows, but none like this.”

Give me your thoughts after the first 8 episodes.

“I was a bit confused about some things, but I still liked it.”

Who was your favorite character?

“Phillip.”

Any last thoughts?

"If anything happens to Phillip I will kill everyone in this room and then myself." 

I’ll probably repeat some of these questions, as well as ask him about new characters that are introduced. Maybe Ill ask him what his favorite suit was when its all said and done. My biggest hope is to get him to watch the next show, maybe even all of the seasons! (But even I won’t do that, so...)

Also, no spoilers please, he’s watching blind and I want to see his reactions.

Here’s some BTS. Yes, these photos are ONE figure. Toothpicks hold the torso, hips, arms and head together. His torso can be separated into three to actually swap forms. The books actually fit and go into the SworDriver. His mouth plates and the plate at his forehead are interchangeable. Yes, it is a pain to keep together, but I’m proud of how it came out. Sorry for writing this much, I’m just so simultaneously angry and proud about this figure.

Remember that Kirby AU I talked about once???

Abilities!!

He can lower the visor!!

Fighter!!

Fire!!

Ice!!

Cutter!!

So like, to explain why they look different, the idea I had to make Kirb grow as a character is have some of his abilities, like these five (and a couple others) start weaker than usual, and grow overtime as he masters them, becoming stronger and changing in appearance to look more like the originals.

For example, to make sword look weaker I made it look like a basic sword enemy with a cutlass.

Fighter will make more sense later.

Fore is just a bonfire on his head, and he can’t control the fire, only resist its damage so he can hold it.

Ice is a mask that protects him from the cold, cools the air, and makes ice; but he doesn’t have ice-kinesis, so he just yeets ice chunks at people.

Cutter is bronze instead of the usual gold, but the armored knight look will stay.

Sorry he’s perpetually smiling, only just today I got more clay, so my next post involving Kirby will be more detailed.
