hello! i was wondering what problems you have with sky? i'm getting back into it after a very long break and was curious on what current players are saying
ah lets see hmm hmm
-candle prices are getting way too high even while farming
-the amounts of iap compared to igc seem very imbalanced
-in general the story of sky seems to have been put aside or disregarded for the sake of more opportunities to capitalize on the game
-farming feels repetitive, still
-Jenovah said something about stories being hard to express through gameplay which just isn’t true
-seasons feel way too close together, barely any time to breathe
on the bright side they added the companion cube to pc sky for 50 candles though..!
(made this piece after my mom forced me to stop playing sky due to gadget time limits and i couldn't tell my friend that i had to go despite her wanting me to join her SOBBB)
DEFINITIONS OF SESSIONS so I don’t have to define them in the poll
Large: more than just daily quest realm (in its entirety) + cake realm - medium plus extra. You’re getting all the candles period, or maybe you’re also doing a ton of side stuff (like harmony hall, etc). Anything over like 45 mins.
Medium: you’re playing and getting all the candles in the quest realm, doing the quests, and maybe you’re getting somewhere between half and all of the candle cakes. 20-30 mins ish.
Small: you log on and just do the easy quests, but ignore ones that would really have you trekking around. Maybe you get the first cake. Maybe you time it so you just run right to grandma’s or to the polluted sanctuary to get a ton of wax. That sort of thing. 15ish mins.
Passive: you log in and just sit passively / hang out at somewhere that’ll drop wax onto you.
Note that this is about “grinding behavior” so count the time you spent getting candles
