Father’s Day SLADE

Hi guys, as some of you know, I did some stories a couple of years ago centered around Slade and his family, I always have loved this part of his story that has never quite been explored that much in comics but i never quite found an audience or interest, maybe i was making everything too complex, maybe my skills weren’t there or my writing was poor or too hard to follow…idk.

Anyway, i never stopped thinking and wanting to draw more about them and just for this year’s father’s day i let myself go and I made this page. I dont think i will go back to do comics about them or at least not anytime soon but i would like to know if there’s more people out there who like this.

The way Slade doesn't know how to deal with his children and the only way he knows how to show he cares is by either trying to get them as far away from him as possible or trying to train them and teach them everything he knows so that they don't get themselves killed is sheer comedy. It's honestly so crazy funny when the only thing they need is like. A hug and a "I love you". This has been stated by them. So many times.

Like I cannot begin to describe just how funny this villain is. Like hes actually so deranged in fucking up his interpersonal relationships there's no other way to describe it as anything other than insane!!

-Divorced because his ex wife (Adeline) shot his eye out because his mercenary activities got his younger son's (Joey) throat slit

-Older son (Grant) who died because he was a huge Hater and so Deathstroke picked up his vendetta to fight a bunch of superhero teenagers

-Put a contract hit on his daughter (Rose) to have an excuse to hang out with her, ends up actually having to save her from a real contract placed on her because Adeline hired Rose's boyfriend to kill her. Who ends up being Luis, the son of an ex-lover Deathstroke had and Luis currently hates Deathstroke because he basically just ran out of their family

-Hired a bunch of random people to pretend to be Rose's dead mother's family and lied to her about it

-Everytime he makes a friend he immediately has an emotional aneurysm that makes him scared of human connection so he deals with that by traumatizing his new friend so that they hate him and leave him. Source: Power Girl and Deathstroke killing her dog because he actually cares for her and wanted to teach her a lesson about there being no "heroes" or "villains"

-FUCKED JOEY'S FIANCÉ BECAUSE SHE WAS A SPY??? AND HE THOUGHT THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH THAT IS TO FUCK HER???

He's actually so pathetic and it's so fun to watch him fuck up his own life because how can he be THAT bad at being human?? Oh my god?? Guys. Guys I feel like im going insane. He's my favorite pathetic old man divorced blorbo of 3.

There's 50 issues in this run. I'm on Issue 16. SO MUCH has happened I'm not even halfway through 😭😭

No kings.” Actions are set for the country’s largest cities and small towns, dotting the map from coast to coast – part of a strategy to show that opposition to Trump exists in all corners of the US. No Kings is not hosting an event in Washington DC, intending to take the focus off the military parade and show the power of the people outside the nation’s capital. Philadelphia will host a flagship march instead, and a DC-based organization is hosting a “DC Joy Day” in the district that will “celebrate DC’s people, culture, and our connections to one another”. “We did not want to give him the excuse to crack down on counter-protesters in DC,” Levin said. “We didn’t want to give him the narrative device to say we’re protesting the military. I didn't know the origin of the meme, just that I thought it was funny as hell. I've had it for JJK, for Darkest Dungeon and I couldn't find one for Deathstroke vs Robin so I drew it myself. I've had those meme wallpapers for YEARS.
