Yesterday a very loved artist passed away. Seeing all the love and support in the community for her is just outstanding. I'd been following her work since jr high and the work she did inspired so many of my own art projects throughout the years. She was a very brave and loving soul, going through multi open heart surgeries over the years, and finding out a month ago about her stage 4 cancer. She was always cheerful, making jokes, and committing herself to her love of art. One of her goals through/after chemo was to redo old art concepts she enjoyed. In honor of that I redid an old sketch she did for the 365 day drawing challenge. I'll miss her dearly, but I pray she's resting easy among the stars now. ✨✨✨
