🎁 Do you prefer drawing fandom stuff or your own characters?

fandom stuff for sure!!! I need a good story to get invested in the people I draw, and my brain isn't built for original storytelling anymore. It helps even more when I read some really tasty fanfiction, cause then I get a huge burst of inspiration to create.

✨ How often do you draw?

nowadays, I draw at least once/twice a week. It depends on how busy I am with real life stuff, really! I draw traditional sketches, some digital wips and colour studies (that I don't post). Back in the day (like 5 years ago), I used to really be able to pump it out.

🍀 You wish your art was more..(fill in the blank)

dynamic!!! I would love to wake up one day and come equipped with the skills to draw livelier poses and facial expressions, but sadly that hasn't happened yet. Practice, I must.

🌊 What’s the hardest thing for you to draw? 

it's gotta be detailed backgrounds. It's probably my weakest "skill" if I'm being honest! I spent years drawing characters in front of a solid colour background but really neglected my background-drawing muscle haha.

Sometimes when shit is going down I feel like Senshi fully expected to be in a legitimate cooking anime and somehow got isekaied into a weird dark fantasy/comedy/dungeon crawler world and is trying his best to keep the vibe he was looking for going.

📚 How many layers do you typically use?

oooh well it really depends on how detailed I want the piece! I usually use anywhere between 3–20 layers. My most essential layers are the outline -> colour base -> any lighting/texture effects on top/backgrounds. I also try to label them but give up on making them sound coherent after the fifth layer or so lmao
