i understand why you may be apologizing, but the reason surrounding it is unfair. the idea that people feel ENTITLED to your time is bullshit. you shouldn’t ever have to apologize for not messaging back on time, quickly, or ever, honestly. people feeling bad is on THEM, not you. you are a human being with your own feelings, emotions, thoughts, and struggles. you are never, ever, ever, EVER obligated to force yourself to reply or carry on a conversation, and you should never apologize for that. again, you are a real, living, breathing person, and if someone is hurt or angry or offended, then so be it. you are not a content machine, you are always allowed to leave messages unanswered.
also, i want to apologize to people whose messages were ever ignored by me or took me ages to reply to. i have no excuses, i’m just shit at communicating and a lot of time get stuck in my own head, postpone replying and then either forget about it or think that it is too late to reply. i’m sorry if i’ve ever made someone feel bad bc of this - honestly, it’s never personal, it’s just me and my inner problems. i will try harder to work on it. thank you for ever initiating conversations with me

concept:
lexi seeing people in actual love and getting down on herself because she realizes that MAYBE true love isn’t for her and all that she’ll get out of life is guys PRETENDING to care until they get in her pants, then they walk off. her envisioning her life totally alone, because despite her having the confidence of hera, she is genuinely insecure deep down and fears that people will only ever want her because she is a pretty face, and not all the BAGGAGE that may come with that. tbh she’s miserable inside and is in a lot of genuine pain, but instead of pushing people away, she pulls them closer in a desperate attempt to secure that she won’t be as alone in the future as she anticipates.
