Let's start this out with a snippet from one of my steamier WIPs, the working title is Healing Hands. Si-eun and his coworkers went to a resort to relax. Seong-je works at the resort. The posted part below is SFW though.

The next month, they arrived in a bus that Cho Ji-su had rented for arrival and departure. She said it would be better not to use up all the space with various cars.

"It's also better for the environment, don't you think?" She'd said and as much as Si-eun wanted to find something bad about her, he couldn't. Ji-su was genuinely nice and caring.

Su-na grabbed him by the arm after they gotten their luggage out of the bus, "I read online that they have a herbal tea course and massages," her eyes sparkled as she said this, "naturally, I booked both for us to start off nicely."

"What even is a herbal tea course?" Si-eun said skeptically under his breath as Su-na dragged him into the resort. He looked up at the huge mansion of a resort and then back at the view. There was a lake nearby as well. Objectively, the perfect place to relax. Si-eun wondered if he would actually get to sleep though with all the possible activities.

Once they settled in, he met Su-na in the lobby. "I already asked where we need to go, come on," again, she pulled on his arm. One of these days, Si-eun was sure it would fall off and she'd run along with his arm in hand. The thought had him smile to himself as he imagined her not even realizing what happened. "I really wish I could read your mind, Si-eun-ah."

"Some mysteries should never be uncovered," Si-eun countered, entering the room in which their herbal tea course would take place. It smelled like an awful lot. Not bad, just a lot. "And this smell is supposed to be….good?"

"The tea, not all the mixed scents," Su-na wrinkled her nose, "I didn't expect it to be so fragrant." She thankfully said, causing Si-eun to feel less bad about his first impression.

The course started out very relaxed, they were given the basic information on which teas were good for each health condition and the amount needed to make a difference in ones life. Their instructor was a friendly older lady who calmly answered even the dumbest questions with sincerity. When she made her rounds after giving them the task of listing the teas they thought would be helpful for them, she stopped next to Si-eun, "You have many teas for sleep," she noted.

"Si-eun is sleep deprived," Su-na helped out, "do you have a suggestion besides Chamomile tea?" She asked, patting Si-eun when he looked at her like he wanted to smack Su-na. He wasn't a child, Si-eun could speak for himself.

The instructor nodded thoughtfully, "Perhaps, try Magnolia tea," she said, turning away from them for a moment to gather something from the many pots of dried leaves and flowers she had. The instructor was preparing tea for Si-eun right away, "If you have a massage session, I advise you to ask for Healing Hands," she smiled, "he can find all the spots that need to soften. Will put you right to sleep."

"Ah," Si-eun bowed gratefully as he received the tea, "Thank you."

Su-na nudged him with her elbow, "I read in the reviews that he's super hot," she said in a whisper, "I planned on asking for him, but I guess you need it more," Su-na sighed in self-pity, "just promise to let me live vicariously through you."

"If he is supposed to put me to sleep, I don't think there is much you can experience through me…" Si-eun argued and took a sip of the tea when the instructor motioned for him to do so.

"Can't you just agree to humor me?"

Si-eun gave her the fake smile he learned to use in his work environment, "You can live through me." He told her and then his smile immediately dropped.

You need to move off of Google Docs!

I know some people have seen the news recently and may be doubtful of it. To the uninformed, Google Docs has started using AI to find "inappropriate" and "problematic" content, scraping your documents and deleting it. I know some people are unsure if this is real or think this is not going to affect them.

I regret to inform you that this is real.

As I was on a call with some writers and we were moving our documents as a precautionary measure, one person discovered entire pages missing that they did not delete themselves. This is happening to us, it's not a hoax or a rumor, it's happening right now. You need to move everything if you want to preserve it.

If you're a writer with writer mutuals, please reblog this so they know. I rarely write on Google Docs anymore, but I started my fanfics on there, and I would be devastated if I lost works more than ten years old because people decided marketing appeal is more important than creative freedom.

i really like this thing where websites will have separate "log in" & "sign up" buttons and if you click "log in" it takes you to a sign-up screen anyway so you have to click "i already have an account" and then it will ask if you want to sign in with your facebook account or with instagram or linkedin or deviantart or whatever, and if you choose "username & password" it asks if you want to put in your username or use your thumbprint, and once you put your username & password it emails you a confirmation code, and once you put in the code it says "do you want to give us your phone number for future sign-ins? do you want to sign up for facial recognition? do you want to give us your bones? give us your fucking bones?

Hello,

since the majority voted for yes, I decided to jump on the beloved WIP Wednesday train for a weekly snippet, starting tomorrow. Mostly in hopes to actually get to finish a fic in the near future.

Depending on how it is received, I will try my best to stick with it. The snippets will be of varying length, since I hate cutting them off for word counts sake.

Interaction will be appreciated, but not expected.

You can ask for snippets of new chapters in my inbox of a specific fic that is already posted on AO3 in any of the fandoms I'm in with my Bitchofdarkness username. For that, I will also enable anon ask again in case lurkers want to interact.

Since I am shit at actually finishing fics, but great at accumulating WIPs, I wanna know if anyone in my follower list would be interested if I were to post snippets of my WIPs on a specific day of the week. I've seen other people (some of my mutuals) on tumblr doing it and I thought maybe that could also be fun.
