Oilers Hockey

I know I said this was a blog about my love of food, but can I just take a minute to discuss my love of hockey? My Oilers are back and while they've been "rebuilding" for a few years, I still have faith that we will get back to playoff contention soon. Plus, hockey nights mean getting to try out new appies! And beer, let's not forget beer!

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

My earliest memory is of being about 3 or 4 and climbing on the kitchen counter to get a knife to cut a watermelon. I saw mom do it so I guess I figured it wouldn't be that hard. I ended up falling off the counter with the knife in my hand and it falling beside me on the floor. What a first memory!! lol
