On the bench today: I’m doing a little bit of customization, making a one of my small seahorse necklaces (pictured here in bronze) ADJUSTABLE. I’ve found chain lengths can be a very personal thing, and I like making sure my jewelry is optimally wearable for the individual. I always get excited about a new idea - I bang out a few tests, some color samples, I do the project, and I store the samples. I come back later, thinking I’ll understand the few abbreviations scribbled on the back of a sample (if anything at all). I’m learning to be better about clearly labeling the samples, noting gauges and lengths for pieces, and my workflow will be much simpler for it. (at Tampa, Florida)
