Mike and El in Season 4:

• El lies to Mike for months.

• After El was bullied, she walked AWAY from Mike instead of going to him for comfort.

• Mike freaked out when El hit Angela with a rollerskate which reminded El of Papa.

• Instead of comforting El after she's been bullied and is clearly upset, Mike stays by Will's side even though they just had a fight.

• Mike says, "She didn't look fine." —> El leaves and goes to her room, where she thinks about Papa again.

• El stays in her room and doesn't eat breakfast because she's still upset.

• Mike tells El that he understands how she feels because he's been bullied his whole life and she tells him, "No, you don't." Showing that they don't understand each other at all.

• El calls Mike out for not telling her that he loves her, and instead of Mike saying "I love you!" He calls her ridiculous and shifts the blame, saying the "mouthbreathers" are ruining their relationship.

• Mike feels like El doesn't need him anymore and that he just feels like some random nerd. He sees El as this special superhero —> Will tells Mike that he's a leader and an inspiration. He's the heart. Mike makes Will feel better for being different and gives him the courage to fight on. Will tells Mike that he will always need him —> Mike falsely believes that's what El thinks.

• Will pushes Mike to say something to El, reminding him that he's the heart —> Mike tells El that he loves her —> They lose —> El revives Max, and we hear Max say, "Not Hopper. Not Mike. You." And "There's more to life than stupid boys!" —> We don't see Mike and El talk, hug, or kiss after Mike's supposed "love confession" —> We get a scene of Mike and Will talking instead —> Mike and Will stand together while El stands on her own.

Why do we say “slept like a baby” when babies literally wake up screaming every two hours?

I want to sleep like a middle-aged dad who “rests his eyes” during a Marvel movie and wakes up refreshed, confused, and ready to barbecue.

The thing that absolutely gets to me in this scene is how Will doesn't even look upset when he sees El and Mike (totally platonically) reuniting.

The GA always argues that Will's included during their “romantic moment” to convey his sadness/unrequitedness/queer alienation, but like he's just happy to have his sister back in this moment. There’s not even a hint of sadness on his face. It's Mike who's acting strange here.

Bro looks like someone just electrocuted his cat, like who is this loser boykisser? Cringefail Mike Wheeler, never change.

I'm someone who unfortunately often lets details go by unnoticed so hearing the costume designer for s4 call this el outfit her "will look" just exploded my mind bc yeah it's pretty clear that eleven dresses herself differently in s4 compared to how she dressed in s3 but OH BOY it's not just the clothes it's the hair too, everything about her reminds us of will, this scene with Mike between them it's crazy, it's like he's between the gender bent versions of the same person and now he has a choice to make iykyk....

Ummmm, hello???

From s1 ep1, when Joyce and Jonathan are looking through photos to put on Will’s missing poster. And there sits a photo of the Hawkins Library clock, right in the middle of the photos of Will. The same library clock that rings four times when Jonathan is yelling to Joyce about Will’s funeral — where Will is found and resuscitated — and where Vecna’s four gates intersect … 

Insane bit of foreshadowing with the “have you seen me?” directly next to the clock image, which is where Will is found.

Now, if you look at the cast;

So we know there's going to be a new male character introduced, who seemingly has a pretty central role. What new characters have we seen so far? Oh I don't know maybe..

So I'm gonna assume this is Derek. OK that doesn't give us much info.. or does it??

This isn't the only time we've seen him in the trailer, take a look.

We see him positioned higher than the others. Joyce wields an ace to protect/harm something or someone. Everyone else is on the ground, so why is he placed there?

Became whatever is going to attack them is targeting him.

They're using Derek to lure it.

Ergo; "The turnbow trap"

Note: every other character seems to be looking forward except Will who's looking up.

AND you're telling me Will is the main character? AND that Byler is likely? AND this season will be more gruesome? AND that Noah Schnapp will be conveying emotion on my screen?

I think Will gets his happy ending, but there'll be darkness before light.
