I have been filled with rage since the inauguration. Every new headline makes me angrier. I thought surely there was a boundary, surely someone will stop him. No one is stopping him from illegal deportations and defying court orders. No one is stopping his lawyers from postponing hearings about his defiance. No one is stopping his executive orders taking away freedoms one by one (actually I know judges are out here blocking him where they can, but I am afraid it will not be enough). No one is stopping literal Nazi Elon musk from putting his disgusting tiny man hands on our government.

I donate to planned parenthood monthly and have recently joined the Tesla takedown movement and will be attending more protests. But I'm afraid it's not enough.

How are you fighting back? How else can I contribute?

Gonna need yall to stop putting Biden is Just As Bad propaganda on my dash. Had to unfollow someone because I don’t want to a start a fight with them over it, but I’m about to bite the next person who puts that shit in front of me.

If you don’t like Biden, vote in your god damn local and mid term elections for third party or further left candidates so that we get better democratic candidates for future elections. But this one is already fucking decided, and I’m NOT ending up under a Trump led dictatorship because yall value protecting your personal sense of moral purity over the collective good. Whether it offends your personal morals to vote for Biden is IRRELEVANT in the face of the alternative.

This isn’t a lesser of two evils situation. One guy sucks. The other guy is LITERALLY PLANNING TO OVERTHROW OUR DEMOCRACY AND INSTALL HIMSELF AS A PUTIN STYLE DICTATOR.

Everyday I desperately try to understand how world governments can sit by and watch a genocide happen. Every time I see more news I grow more certain that it won't stop until Palestine is wiped off the map and left a smoldering mess with the only surviving Palestinians scattered across the world. The worst feeling is not being able to stop it. Sure I can donate and protest and keep talking about it, but I can't physically make the planes stop flying or the bombs stop falling. I feel so deeply for people I've never met and a place I've never been but the people who can really make a difference turn a blind eye. How do we go on in a world like this?
