I think Emma is really sweet but looks really intimidating, causing people to avoid her.

Fae is from a blood-supremacist family, and is actively rebelling against it (but not as loud as Sirius), but that tends to get her stressed sometimes, which will make faer snappy.

She constantly calls people, dear, sweetie, darling, etc. out of habit (her aunt calls people pet names a lot, her aunt was disowned btw, so Emma visits her in secret).

I will update this when I think of more, so check it every so often!
