Is it still Winter?
As everyone in the UK has noticed, it has been very cold recently! It was even snowing in the last few days. These are pictures from the last time it snowed in Angel. All very pretty, but we are ready for spring!

Four Things That Are Definitely Hot
Four things that are definitely hot, this week. Apparently we're in a surrealist and painterly mood. Also street dancing.

No.1 Peter Saul - http://www.davidnolangallery.com/artists/peter-saul
The irrepressible artist, Peter Saul, is cheerfully acerbic, riotously goofy. If you do not know and love him, you are wrong.

No.2 Charmaine Olivia - http://www.charmaineolivia.com/
Charmaine Olivia manages through her work to render the raw and delicate nature of femininity, in all its furious glory.

No.3 Michael Hussar - http://www.michaelhussar.biz/pages/main_menu_pg.html
Michael Hussar: mad portraiture. Awesome painter. Check it.

No.4 - Lachlan Bailey, Katie Kloss. Street Dance Editorial, Paris Vogue - http://www.lachlanbailey.com/N-E-W
Graceful, yet edgy. He combines classic aesthetics with some killer moves.

Basement Galley @ Blackdrum Studio

So, fellow tongue owners,
On March 16th Blackdrum was proud to play host to the crew of the Basement Galley - one of London’s hottest pop-up restaurants - for seven courses of very fine dining, and all the conversational nibblets one could chomp.
Twenty four totally delightful strangers from across London joined us to indulge in some Michelin star quality food from up and coming chef/wizard, Alex Cooper, on an evening filled with exquisite tastes and riotous banter .
Sadly, tickets went so fast we barely had chance to lick the stamps, but hopefully there’ll be further opportunities in the future for y’all to come break bread with us in the warehouse of dreams!
We'll keep you posted. In the meantime check out www.basementgalley.com for Alex and Tom's other events!
