Can we talk about how the Firstborn has achieved a miracle in sculpting?
What I am talking about is the scarf. How is the stone supporting itself without breaking right away? Did they make it wave in such a way to get the desired “motion” in the sculpture, or did they just hope no one would even touch the statues?
Because I remember learning a little bit about sculpting when learning about Renaissance stuff, and I am very sure a feat like this is incredible, lol.
Here’s the Lordran & Beyond comic for this month, a 7 page summary of Tarkus and Oswald’s exploits through Sen’s Fortress! You can read the whole comic in higher fidelity on the L&B website, as well as find a bunch of other Souls-y stories to dig into!
Also, please be sure to give your kind regards to @blazemalefica for doing such a fantastic job with the artwork this month, and if you’re a fan of what you see, you can pitch in towards the artists directly by visiting the Lordran and Beyond Patreon! Every little bit pledged goes to the artists!
“I was born of fear and my lord provided comfort.”
The Lovers represent perfection, harmony and mutual attractiveness. Their trust in one another gives them strength and confidence to overcome the obstacles in life. The bond that the two lovers has created is incredibly strong and is often reflective of a marriage, soul mate connection or very intimate and close relationship. On a more personal level, the Lovers card represents the establishment of a personal belief system and becoming clearer about your own values. This is a time when you are figuring out what you stand for and what your personal philosophy on life is.This is also a time when you need to stay true to yourself and be as authentic and genuine as possible.
My friends and I are starting a new D&D campaign! My new character is a ranger, who’s a living doll with a rifle named Miss Nanny. So for some pre-game fun I did this intro comic with a lil peek at some of her backstory stuff. The text is from an old nursery rhyme about magpies, “One for Sorrow.”
PS. My bud did an intro comic for her D&D character in the same party. It’s cute because the Fire Knight is very Dark Souls and Miss Nanny is pretty Bloodborne and it wasn’t intentional at all.
