The headline goes on and on as Petra scrolled through her timeline. She sniffed, overwhelmed with the love and excitement of the people for her and Levi's baby.

River Ackerman, born just two weeks ago, was sleeping peacefully in his little baby bed. He was born with his father's features. From his thin black hair to his steel-grey eyes, and thin lips. He was all his father.

Everyone was excited when River was safely delivered, and even if their co-actors have busy schedules and prior commitments, they made sure to visit her and River at the hospital and send love notes and gifts.

Her husband gushed over her and River so much. Levi made sure that security was tighter and kept everything as private as much as possible. But he couldn't resist the urge to show the world that he was now a father and posted a picture on Instagram of River's small hands encircling his finger.

Hence, the headlines.

Petra knew how famous her husband and his family were and it was a lie to say that she didn't expect this huge uproar just by showing River's hands on the internet. They rejected every offer of interview, endorsement deals, and even an offer for Levi and River to be on a magazine cover. She and Levi decided that their whole parenting journey is going to be lowkey. After all, this is the most important yet fulfilling role they ever had in their lives and they want to give their best performance.

If you write me privately I'll tell you which one. Here I can attach the link. By clicking on "archivio" (archive) and choosing the 1971 movies list you can find Morte a Venezia and see they own about 650 pics in black and White and 2900 in color.

Yes, I know about Mario Tursi’s photos but I never knew they are all completely available to view online? Which press website would that be on? And how could I write to you privately? (You left no info lol.)

Morning Routines

☕️ There are some mornings where Levi has to get up just before dawn to make it to the Corps base. Sometimes it’s to over see training of new cadets and other times it’s to attend meetings with Erwin, Hange, Miche and the other veterans. Other times it’s to travel with Erwin and Hange to Stohess and meet with Pyxis, Nile and Premier Zachary.

☕️ Regardless of the reason, these are admittedly Levi’s least favorite mornings. Mostly because he doesn’t really get to interact with you as he lets you keep sleeping. He might only get a few hours of sleep a night and be fine but he is adamant about not disrupting your sleep schedule.

☕️ Levi will get out of bed, making sure not to disturb you as he forces himself to pull away from your embrace. He kisses your face gently, watching you for a few more sparing minutes. He loves watching how peaceful you are as you sleep, so soft and delicate compared to the worlds of military life and the Underground he was used to. His heart swells at the thought that you feel safe with him.

☕️ Levi will take a quick shower and grab something simple to have for breakfast before heading off. He won’t leave, however, without leaving a note for you, wishing you a good day and explaining when he’ll be back, asking you to be safe and that he loves you. He kisses your face gently before pulling his cloak on and heading out the door.

☕️ However, barring those occasions where he has to leave before you awake, your morning routine is blissful.

☕️ Levi will still wake before you but this time it’s to go through a morning work out routine. He’ll come back in and shower and clean up. Levi has a meticulous skincare routine and cares for his hair and makes sure he’s clean shaven. He always makes sure to present the best version of himself.

☕️ He changes into his uniform and then goes to join you in the kitchen. You, however, will awaken shortly after your husband has gone for his work out. You place on your housecoat if it’s a bit cold in the air and make the bed before starting on breakfast and preparing Levi’s lunch.

☕️ You two have breakfast together, idly chatting about what chores you plan to get done during the day and asking Levi about his day ahead. It’s slow and soft, you have time before he has to be at the base and you two savor it together.

☕️ Eventually the time will come for Levi to leave for the day. You always make sure to see him off, kissing him before he leaves. It’s your literal ritual and you make sure he never leaves with out his kiss. In a way, it’s your silent spell to ensure he’ll stay safe.

☕️ Levi has his own version of this spell where after you both break from the kiss, he stays close to you and presses his forehead to yours, closing his eyes. He breathes you in and lingers there a moment before you hear him softly say “I’ll be home soon”.

☕️ It’s his silent promise to you. Levi is just too guarded to ever outright promise you that he’ll never be harmed or even killed. He refuses to make a promise to you he could risk breaking and devastating you. But saying “I’ll be home soon”? That’s his silent way of saying “I love you”. It’s his way of saying that, no matter what, he’ll come back to you. He’ll always find his way back to you.
