"Don't you worry about it. I'm just as busy as you are now." She slapped him lightly on the back, giving a chuckle. It felt as though an endless grin was attached to her features. There really was like nothing seeing an old friend-- and old best friend at that.  "Never see you at the Dojo any more, but Gai-Sensei says you still go a lot. So Lee and I must be blind, or missing something." Tenten adjusted her jacket, glancing to the side.  "I'm sure that Hinata's told you that we're dating now. Kind of a new thing for me..."

"Neji?" The brunette turned around at the sound, her eyes widening in surprise as she caught on to a figure she hadn’t seen in a long time. It was true that she saw Lee more than too often, but that was because they nearly always did martial arts at the same time. Neji attended at a different schedule after high school had finished, and unfortunately the chances of spotting him were grim at best. She practically tackled him in an affectionate hug. Tenten really had missed the Hyuuga’s company. "I haven’t seen you in FOREVER! How are you?"

"Eh? Oh, sorry, Naruto. I didn't hear you well." Tenten let out a nervous string of laughter, one hand reaching to her neck to scratch at it. "So what's the message?" 

"Me? Watch my aim? Naruto- I meant to hit you. That’s the point. You can’t just challenge me and then not expect to get hurt.”

"Itachi san....It seems that in the end...I'm not so terrible after all"

"Neji actually isn't as bad as everyone thinks. And especially now that he's matured a bit. --And remember, too, I'm right by Gai-Sensei and Lee all the time. They're total embarrassments, but they are genuinely the sweetest people I know."

  "Yeah, that’s true. At least I know now that’s it’s not just me dealing with all the rudeness around."

Tenten knew it was rude to stare, but this time she just couldn't help it. Her gaze held itself on the tiny body of the Uchiha, her mind completely and utterly torn between laughter and confusion. "Hey there." Her lips made out, but slowly.

"Sakura?" Tenten perked up immediately at the voice, a smile taking control of her features as she whirled and practically leapt to hug the pinkette. 

"Sakura! Oh, thank god! Someone sane!"
