In the Studio | Blaincedes

Mercedes was pretty transparent with their plans while they were in Atlanta, but there was one surprise she had up her sleeve. She had kept close contact with someone helped her record a few songs back in college and she was trying to continue that work with the material she’d been writing during her time in Devereux. And while she knew Rie would have enjoyed it, Mercedes knew that Blaine would get more out of it. So she saved her studio time for him. Mercedes parked her dad’s truck in the empty parking lot and took Blaine around the back of what looked like an abandoned building. Down the stairs and Blaine could finally see that it was indeed a hidden gem. After introductions, catching up, and Mercedes laying down a track, it was Blaine’s turn to just ad-lib something over a melody her producer friend Klein was working on. “Alright, shug. Hit us with something funky.” ( @blaineandersonsub )

Blaine was incredibly excited when Mercedes had mentioned a surprise, but actually arriving and realizing what was going on had him beyond excited. He’d never actually been in a recording studio before, much less been given the opportunity to record something on his own. Not to mention, following Mercedes was nerve wracking, just because of how talented she was and how at home she seemed behind a microphone. Pushing his nerves down as much as possible, he listened to a few bars of the song and then proceeded to ad-lib some lyrics that came to mind that felt like they went with the melody. It was a completely different experience to what he was used to, hearing himself in real time through the headphones, but quickly managed to pick his confidence up and run with it despite being out of his comfort zone. After the music ended, he puffed his cheeks up a little, bouncing anxiously on the balls of his feet as he played subconsciously with his pockets. “Um, how was that, Miss?”

Angel smiled more brightly when Blaine seemed pleased to see her, it made her feel less awkward. “It’s lovely to finally meet you too, and the perfect place to do it too I think.” She offered, also watching as Vio Jr made himself acquainted with the other dog at their feet. “Thank you, Yoda is so cute. I’m glad they seem to be getting along even though Vio is a frisbee theft.” The blonde joked. “Have you had a nice summer?”

Blaine laughed softly at the frisbee comment, glancing back up at Angel with a warm smile on his face as he subconsciously played with the leash he held in his hands. “Definitely the perfect place, and thank you! He’s my little rugrat. We’re working on not chewing up my shoes at the moment,” He said, letting out another soft laugh. “I have, yes. We just got back from Paris, and in a few days we’re setting off to Atlanta. So it’s been busy but, I think he loves traveling as much as I do. Have you enjoyed your summer so far?”

Princess heard all of Blaine’s words and they even began to sink in. But she didn’t say anything. She simply shrugged and nodded to acknowledge them but he wasn’t going to get much more from her in the moment. Even as he went on to the the subject of keeping him updated she just nodded again and tucked the letter into her back pocket. “Yeah alright, have fun or whatever.” She turned to walk away, but stopped in her tracks. Quickly she moved towards Blaine, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck. Then she quickly moved away, disappearing into her bedroom without so much as a word. 

Blaine hadn’t expected the kiss on the back of his neck, but when it came he turned to watch just as Princess disappeared into her room. He couldn’t help but smile to himself. “Love you too,” He murmured, then made his way out of the room, pulling the door closed behind him.

It was actually Angels first time at the dog park, she’d been meaning to take Vio jr down for a while but with classes and writing this was the first time she’d found the time. Throwing the frisbee for a very excited Vio jr she spotted a familiar puppy. Yoda. Watching she noted the dog returning to the man she supposed must be Blaine, taking a breath she walked across the grass and waved a hand in greeting. “Pardon me, but are you Blaine?” She asked warmly. “I’m Angel.. me and Vio jr have your frisbee.” @blaineandersonsub​

Blaine glanced up from where he was knelt, playing tug of war with Yoda, when his name was called, watching a woman approach him with a little dachshund in tow. He immediately recognized the dog, and couldn’t help but smile when Yoda dropped the toy and immediately rushed over to greet Vio, curly tail moving a mile a minute. He stood, offering her a smile and wave of his own. “Oh, hello Angel! It’s so nice to finally meet you! Well, in person anyway,” He said with a soft chuckle, the excitement evident in his voice as he glanced down to watch the puppies again. “And Vio Jr is just as adorable as he looked in the picture.”

Goodbye Love | Seblaine

“Good, I’m glad,” he responded into the kiss, then smiled at the innocent nose bump. As Blaine turned away, he too followed his gaze to the setting sun. He was never more at peace than when he was in the French countryside and that was even more true now that he had Blaine with him. They talked about it for months, but he didn’t think they would actually get here. It always sounded like a dream and now it felt like a dream. A dream that was already coming to an end. “I’m glad you enjoyed yourself and I’m glad I was finally able to bring you into my world for a little bit.” He nodded and kissed Blaine’s shoulder. “Of course that’s not too much to ask. I’ll make it happen.”

Blaine smiled to himself, turning in Sebastian’s arms to face him before gently sliding his own around the other man’s middle, getting comfortable against his chest. This was Blaine’s happy place, and just being here, skin contact and all was enough to remove the future from his mind for just a little while longer. “I like your world. It’s relaxing. Well, this version anyway,” He said, nodding toward the countryside though his eyes never left Sebastian’s. “I wish it could be like this for you all the time, Frannie too. Just, calm. ... authentic. You both deserve to be happy.” He let out a relaxed sigh, moving in and resting his forehead to Sebastian’s shoulder as he began moving his finger tips over Sebastian’s shoulder blades affectionately. “American McDonalds should take notes from French ones, maybe I’d eat there. I’ve never seen a whole cheesecake in a fast food restaurant before,” He murmured, letting out a soft laugh as he wrinkled his nose up a little. “What’s been your favorite part though? Like, things we’ve done together while abroad?”

Goodbye Love | Seblaine

Sebastian just nodded, tightening the hold around Blaine’s middle and pulling him closer. He was instantly at ease from feeling the weight of his body against his. “I don’t want to leave either,” he admitted. Though he was sure the real reason he wasn’t saying was the same as Blaine’s. Or at least he hoped so. “I never want to leave this place when I’m here, but…” he cut himself off, too scared to finish that statement. There had been a lot of close calls over their time together, but there wasn’t a moment he wanted to bare his soul more than this one. “I’d say I’ve been feeling pretty spoiled with you here. Was The Chateau as wonderful as I described it?”

Blaine smiled, offering the Switch a soft nod as he turned his head enough to look back at him. “It’s as amazing as you described it and more,” He paused for a brief moment, pressing a soft kiss to the other man’s lips. “But I think that has more to do with who I’m here with, Monsieur.” He affectionately bumped their noses together, then looked back ahead at the scenery that was gradually getting darker as the sun sank further behind the horizon. “And the sightseeing in Paris was one of my favorite parts too. I think I’d actually like to try a McDo’s macaron on the way to the airport, if that’s not too much of an ask Monsieur?” He asked, moving his arms to rest his hands over Sebastian’s, giving them a gentle squeeze.

Seblaine || The Great Lawn

Sebastian was engulfed in the moment and with Blaine. There was no panic or looking around to see who could see them. He was completely at ease and he just relished in that. The lack of worry made room for other emotions, which was why those feelings of adoration, contentment, and… love he’d been trying to suppress were very present. Not to mention, there was this perfect picnic that was laying out for them and the memories of their first couple of days in New York fresh on his mind. He licked his lips when Blaine pulled away, those words hanging on the end of his tongue once again. I love you. But he just smiled at the suggestion. “Mhm. That’s a good idea.” But he didn’t pull away either. Instead he just sat there with Blaine in his arms for as long as he could. Eventually they would eat and stargaze. But for now he just enjoyed their embrace.
