i’ve been doing stuff with lineart and basic coloring since forever, but the moment i start doing lineless and painty art suddenly it looks infinitely better than what i’ve been doing for longer? what?? how???

i’m literally stuck in a place worse than art block. it’s like i have style block, there’s a thing i want to make with the old style but i CAN’T because it doesn’t look good enough to pull off what the hell do i do??

like some help would be nice because i have no idea what to do, please
