*At the tap, Q turned around and froze at the sight of Dazai. But when he wished them a happy birthday, they realized this wasn't the same Dazai they were currently familiar with.*

*This Dazai was younger, even younger than when Q had met him when they were six years old, so if he wasn't hostile, they wouldn't be either.*

"Oh, uhm, thank you!" *Q opened their gift.*

*At least an hour passed and Chuuya was able to get some much-needed work in without a small voice begging him to play. But all good things must come to an end and Q began to stir. Finally, their eyes fluttered open.*

"..food..?" *Q mumbled, probably smelling the ramen Chuuya had brought.*

*Suddenly, the door barges open. This was about the fifth time that day, but the hundredth time since Q had been freed. They were in constant need of entertainment and seemed to only go to him for it.*

"Chuuuuyaaaa!!"

*Q finished chewing before answering.* "..it's naturally like this."

Dazai tapped on Q’s shoulder.

*Mid-bite Q felt Dazai's hand on their hair and they flinched back.* "Fwwat waf zat or?" *They asked, however, it was hard to understand after eating a cookie.*
