Update (with the suggestions collected from tumblr and bsky)
I've glanced at the rules (mostly focusing on the stats/etc:dice mechanics)
Kids on Bikes (Renegade Games) - is a very very close neighbor which features this + has the option of taking half of the dice roll if you have the skills in it. [@/sol-hearth]
Savage Worlds (Pinnacle Entertainment) - is a fairly close match, it appears to not have the d20 as part of the 'loadout' and it also features other gameplay components (playing cards) [tumblr anon]
Fabula Ultima (Need Games) - a good cousin, it skews to a d6~d12 range, where one could build with that kind of option, but has repeats accounted for (a "jack of all trades" has d8s in all stats) [@/littlebluecaboose]
Open Legend (Seventh Sphere Entertainment) - an open source TTRPG, the way attributes are handled is definitely the first I've seen of this type but aren't what I'm looking for (attribute scores are converted to how many of a certain dice type are rolled) [mrzeebub on bsky]
I'm always open to more TTRPG suggestions and thank you to everyone who contributed!
I'm sure a TTRPG system already uses a "stat 1 = d4, stat 2 = d6, etc." loadout with no doubling up on dice values, but I have no idea/memory of what that could be
if anyone knows, I'd appreciate it since I don't want to reinvent the wheel and would like to properly credit it

Note
For the ttrpg with different dice sizes, does Savage World fit the build?
it does, thanks for the suggestion!
(I'll add an update to the post with the game suggestions I got as well, thank you to everyone who has contributed so far)

not me looking unhinged because a publication had a misleading lede that prompted me to comment, then (as far as I know*) quietly edited it to be more transparent after some complaints of which I was bluntly a part of
good on them for the revision, but now I look like some dipshit who can't read, oh well!
for my own sanity and archive reasons, readmore contains the before/after of the Rascal article regarding roll20/drivethruRPG and Rebel Scum as well as a link to the article
*if the edit was announced somewhere, feel free to share the correction notice so I can make my own revision for the record

>I ask if the story is a good fantasy story >they ask what I mean >I ask if the story will resolve the problems established by its fantastical framework >they assure me it is a good fantasy story >I look inside >it's a 3rd act "none of it is real, escapism bad"

bad news: did work that did not contribute to progress on my current plate
good news: I have possibly solved who/what the big bad of the blorbo RPG is and their ~*dastardly*~ motive(s). (you'd think that would be the first thing solved, but I prioritized the blorbos and their themeparks towns first)

sugar getting a 3rd shot to run a show is likely going to end the same way as the other two- a weak resolution by any writing metric and then an obnoxious defense force couching every shortcoming in progressive language and ultimatums
every fandom has these kinds of people, but it's going to be uniquely annoying because they'll be claiming sugar is just a smol bean with no agency in creating this show while also celebrating them as a progressive mastermind.
"remember! sugar gave us the first gay cartoon wedding" yeah well it would have been nice to have a better script too.
if there's any plot beat I'm going to uncharitably predict, it might be (/throws dart) that lars has a Coming Out Moment, changing pronouns to they/them. the fandom will fall to their knees about how sugar has done it again while generously ignoring the writing is possibly even more wobbly because it's a show about LARS

first (digital) ruffs/MSPaint doodles of Mika, aka sad catman
previously all I had was a jumbo post-it (if there's interest, I'll take a pic and share that). he is vaguely based off a lynx but sized like a big cat for whore- I mean lore reasons

ramble inspired by a recent poll asking "if [my] icon [would] own or wear something with a pride flag" [poll link here]
and the (full) icon art just in case I swap it out sometime:
answer was "my icon doesn't know what being gay even is" as Genevre is a sentient spark wearing a deer carcass and other bits, doing their best living out in the local Cursed Forest Ruins
their first civil conversation with a human is getting conned into marrying the equivalent of a traveling nun/technician
once again another idea I keep in my hoard of WIPs that I'd like to see made into a comic or some other visual media but who the hell knows if it'll ever be real. regardless I still like Genevre's design even if it could stand to be updated (the nun/technician definitely would!) as my notes say they're from **2016!**

not to sound entitled about ~*queer erotica*~ but you can't just whiz right past a plus-sized goth patchwork (zombie?) lady with glasses and a weathered older commander woman (with CLAW GAUNTLETS!!) to focus on two characters with Median Protagonist(TM) builds
how can I settle for some burgers and fries when I just saw two steaks get taken to a different table??

(crossposting to here)
*EZ copy-paste: Save webP as PNG or JPEG (Converter) by jscher2000
highly recommend this firefox addon to deal with the increasing frequency of WebPs, especially if you need to save a lot of images at once.
(after dabbling in the options) when firefox detects opening a WebP, the file saving options can be automatically displayed at the top of the image
there are workarounds BUT why do that when you can just save the image the way you want the first time?

re: "genAI is real art":
no, the automated plagiarism machine does not produce art because plagiarism is not art, it is fraud
somehow people figure out that someone copy-pasting genAI text-outputs is not a writer (much less an author), so why should visual art be devalued EVEN MORE?
do NOT spare even a hair of legitimacy by calling genAI "real art" because art requires an artist and I'm sure as fuck not giving the machine or the lamprey (known as a "prompter") the satisfaction of saying what they output is art or that they are within galaxy proximity of being an artist- call them what they really are: A FRAUD

(posting this so other CSP users can get SOMETHING close to the scattering style blender in Photoshop)
in Clip Paint Studio if you want the equivalent to Photoshop's Scattering effect on your brush (eg: Blending), click the arrows in the Brush Size of the tool and check Random. The lower the number the greater the scattering effect.
disclaimer: this alone cannot achieve the more extreme Scattering settings in PS (such as outside of the "path" of the brush), but it's better than nothing
