Well ow
possession horror where the thing possessing the autistic character causes them to behave in a more neurotypical way. autistic possession horror where the thing inside you is easier to communicate with than you are, the thing inside you doesn’t have a flat affect, the thing inside you doesn’t let your body stim, the thing inside you is how you were told to behave and you can only do it when you are no longer you. autistic possession horror where you will never forget that everyone liked it better than you before they found out something was controlling you. autistic possession horror where they know what’s inside you isn’t you and debate whether it would be easier for everyone to leave you like this anyway. you agree. reblog.

Forgive me if I'm explaining myself poorly with this, but the more I think about it, the more annoyed I am with how they designed Diamant in Engage. He is my favorite character, so obviously I'm bummed that he's kind of mid, but his design is so infuriating to me.
Like, I get it. He has exclusive access to a pretty powerful self preservation skill in Sol, and the devs knew they had to nerf the hell out of it, or risk it being too over centralizing for his kit.
But tying it's activation chance to the stat that affects his accuracy, while also making that stat incredibly low is just...NOT how you would go about it. It just brings what would be a great unit down to being just...decent at best. And because they knew giving him an accuracy weakness felt bad, his personal skill is just there to make up for it, which feels bad to me.
Also, looking at other personal classes makes me upset, because they didn't even try to balance those guys. There are so many of those classes with stronger skills that also activate on Dex(Luna, Sandstorm, etc), and with those classes, their Dex is super high! It's kind of made up for with their lower strength(which also feels a little bad ngl) but still, it's insane/
If they had set his Dex cap to something like 29-30 or something along those lines, then I feel like that'd be better. It's still not the highest, but that help out with his accuracy issues, and make it so that while Sol isn't overcentralized, it's still somewhat reliable. They wouldn't have needed to give him a pity skill like Fair Fight, and it would have made Diamant better.

My newest deltarune theory is that Ralsei will be kidnapped or otherwise occupied during chapter 5, and leave Kris, Susie and Noelle to be the main party members, while Ralsei gets some fire magic(or at least some screen time)
I think it'd be a cool way of letting Noelle know that the dark world is real, and could be a good way of showing Susie what we've been doing on the Weird Route.

Helpful and Preventative Stretches for Writers, Artists, and Gamers 💪🎨✍🎮
If you type, write, draw, game, or generally use your hands a lot (especially if you’re prone to RSI or Carpal Tunnel!) try these stretches as both a preventative measure, and on the spot relief. Take care of yourself and your body, friends!
Start with hands up, fingers stretched out. Stretch your thumb as far as you can over your palm. Hold and repeat 4 times.
Touch each finger to your thumb. Hold each for 30 seconds. Repeat on each hand 4 times.
Start with a fist. Open half way, hold for 2 seconds. Stretch fingers out, hold for 2 seconds. Repeat 4 times.
Start with one arm out, palm up. Pull your fingers back with your other hand. Hold for 10 seconds. Do the same with your other hand. Repeat 4 times
Start with arms up, palms out. Bend wrists down until you feel the stretch, but keep your fingers loose. Hold 10 seconds. Bend wrist upwards, until you feel it in your wrist and arm. Hold 10 seconds. Repeat 4 times.

Hey so we were talking and decided you can’t be queer anymore. Yeah you have an identity that could potentially be clocked as cishet so you're basically an oppressor. So that also means it's now socially acceptable to make weird disparaging comments about your community and bully them, and also anything even moderately embarrassing someone who openly shares your identity does will be amplified and used as proof that you're all cringelords and our treatment of you is justified. Also you're not allowed to complain about any of this or you're using your privilege to silence us and you can't talk about any bigotry you face because it’s just illegitimate privileged whining and also probably not even that bad. Hope that's okay

Oh, we have a character whose main conflict is that their true self is being stifled and controlled by a foreign power(YOU) and they don't like it? That's cool! How do we show that their a victim in this situation and deserve sympathy?
I know! Lets make them creepily stare at the camera with glowing red eyes, a wicked grin, and a knife~! People will love that want won't just think that the character is actually secretly a murderer.
It totally won't taint the fandom's perception of this kid's actions in any way. It totally will not make everyone think that the weird creepy kid with a knife is, idk, the main antagonist in future chapters.
And it totally does a great job of showing that that kid is a victim to the foreign power's(YOUR) control, and not just a slightly different version of another character who the fandom seems to think is an evil murderer.
Great job.
...
(If it's not clear, I don't like the ending of Deltarune's first chapter at all)

I KNEW IT.
WE GOT TWO
THEY WERE BANGERS
See, for deltarune, what I'm excited for is the new battle theme that will replace Rude Buster halfway through the game.

Every single chapter of Deltarune for me has just been me thinking "I can't wait to figure out what the hell is up with Kris" and that thought keeps getting louder because they keep doing concerning things.

A person in the tags summed it up in a way that works for me.
Jill had to grow out of her hatred. Soren wasn't necessarily racist, but his hatred needed to be unlearned.
Shinon, despite his positive traits, is still a bigot, and doesn't seem to want to change that fact. He's a spiteful and angry bigot. The only reason he's kept around is because of his skill with a bow, and his connection to the other mercenaries. And I don't think it's necessarily bad for a character like that to exist in this army.
My main issue mostly lies in the fact that outside of one support with Janaff-which isn't really enough for me, and is ignored in the sequel-he kind of just gets to...like..."get away" with it.
Like...Ike is fighting to protect the laguz in FE10. The race Shinon hates for irrational reasons. Ike was a champion voice for the laguz three years ago. You're telling me Ike isn't constantly telling him to can it?? You're telling me Ike wouldn't fire him or threaten to fire him over that?
I don't.
I still don't hate Shinon as a character. Just feels like the game could've given us something. and it didn't.
FE9 and FE10 would be a little bit better if someone (preferably Ike) told Shinon to stop being racist to laguz.
Jill gets an entire arc around it and it's awesome. Shinon gets to stick around and be a bigot in the "let's kill bigots" army.
This also goes for Soren, as well. He has a better reason to be prejudiced, but still.

This is a pretty old and fuzzy story, but back when I was in preschool/daycare, I went on a field trip to some place I don't remember. On that field trip, we got to meet the "real" Ronald McDonald. We all went in a line to have a little chat with him one on one.
When it was my turn, he asked me my name, and I told him. He responded with, "Funny, I could've sworn that the kid behind you said your name was Bubba."
For context, I'm black.
I didn't think much if it as a kid because a) I didn't know what he was talking about, and b) Ronald McDonald was talking to me, and I was still not over that.
Years later, I'm scrolling through TikTok and find one of those dumb accounts that play clips from movies and shows.
It was playing Forrest Gump.

I then remembered that conversation and asked myself...
Did 4 y/o me experience a micro-aggression from Ronald Mc-fucking-Donald?
