This blog is dedicated to imagining plausible, whacky, or downright impossible plot twists that could occur in Bleach. Three plot twists are published daily, and I warmly welcome submissions! And if you enjoy it here, you should check out my other blog, Bleach Lists (bleachlists.tumblr.com).
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.
Note
What if the soul society shouldn't exist, and it's just a corruption? (There should only be one world with souls going directly into the cycle of souls after death, hollows and shinigami shouldn't exist). So in the end the soul society is destroyed along with all of the shinigami, and just when Ichigo looks mournfully at his human friends, he begins to disappear as well. Being half shinigami means he has to go too. And that's how Bleach ends.
I DON'T THINK I WOULD EVER RECOVER

Hiatus? Dead? I'm not sure. Sorry - I have no time between school and Bleach Lists. I've thrown this blog under the bus :(

Plot twist: Ichigo has been getting steadily stronger because he is literally asexual and his body has, since it reached sexual maturity, been preparing to create another human/shinigami/hollow/quincey/full-bringer/whatever-else hybrid by generating and storing reiatsu to condense and split off as a baby.

Plot twist: Byakuya's reforged zanpakutou is like Ichigo's, Renji's, and Rukia's, insofar as it involves a wardrobe change. So, because of the nature of Senbonzakura, he's left standing completely naked when he activates Bankai.

Plot twist: Hisana and Rukia are actually Soul Princesses. Something happened and caused them the flee from the Royal Realm and they took on new identities. "Hisana" was betrothed to Byakuya when they were younger and that is why he seems to care so much for her (in a romantic way).

Plot twist: Urahara was offered the chance to be promoted to the Royal Guard for inventing the body-conforming, non-movement restricting bandages that everyone uses, which revolutionized battlefield medical care and shortened time between injury and return to the field.
He turned them down because he made them at Yoruichi's request (regular bandages weren't sexy or flexible enough) and he wanted to get recognition for an invention of his own idea. Then he made the Hogyoku.

Plot twist: Yhwach accidentally kills himself trying to use Yamamoto's stolen zombie skeleton bankai against Ichigo when the power counts all the souls of the people he consumed to extend his own life as people he killed and revives them, leaving him with nothing.
