Deo Gratias!

A few years ago, a close and influential friend of mine suggested to me that I should start up a blog consisting of some of my most raw and insightful thoughts (guided by God and love, of course!) that I would love to share with you all. It’ll revolve around my Catholic faith, the struggles I’ve faced, what I’ve learnt throughout the years and the beautiful blessings I’ve encountered and been grateful for.

So, welcome to this space I like to call my “Blessed Hiding Place!” 

(Thank you Tori Kelly for the reference!!) But in all honesty, I truly do love and have this transcendent connection with this verse from Psalm 32:7. And I’m sure you’ll learn why along the way. 

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” -  Psalm 32:7. 

For a very long time, I’ve been hiding behind my notebook and pen journalling about my own thoughts and encounters - some I’ve always been willing to share but was always too afraid of what the world would say. It has always been just a little room with God and I...but with many prayers, encouragement and thought, I’ve decided to open the door slightly (one day and one step at a time, amirite?!) of my hiding place to those who wish to come in and go on this journey with me. I hope and pray that what I write here, stirs in you this fire to just do something. Be inspired, be grateful, love, learn or grow.
