The more I watch Wicked, the more I have to question Gelphie shippers. Like she literally listened to Morrible say terrible things about the girl she claimed as her best friend a few hours before, to all of Oz, and then went and hugged her. All because she finally got the chance to be Morrible's lacky. Elphaba even calls her on it: "And if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying FREE." I like Glinda for a redemption arc, but she kinda really sucks sometimes. Especially compared to Fiyero's reaction when hearing those same words.

it's been years and it's still genuinely crazy to me that the first two seasons of stranger things had this throughline where all the bad things that were happening in hawkins were directly caused by the us government and that they were excusing the awful things they were doing to their own citizens (children!) through cold war/red scare reactionism. and then in season three there was a secret russian base under the town mall.

my issue with tv shows now is that my favourite one is Dark so every other show just seems too simple and easy for me. no boy who time travels without wanting it one night while he's hanging out with his friends and ends up 33 years in the past and becomes his friend's dad who killed himself because his son time traveled to try to prevent him from killing himself hoping to save his dad and to break the loop which made his dad realize that he had to kill himself for time to follow its path this son being in love with the sister of his dad because he doesn't know this boy will become his dad and no girl being her own grandmother and so her own granddaughter because she fucked her grandfather and gave birth to her own mother? lame.
