Was Inspired by Pokemon character concept art to make a ref for Shep, my pokemon oc and the protagonist of my bw comic!

MORE ON THIS the implications of Rotom phones in general is shaky? But thats why I want to include them. I don't think Rotom Phones in general are like mass produced in my canon which is why theyre only given out as a pokedex would, its like the professors got phones/dexes posessed and tried to make the most of the situation. One thing I for sure want to do those is still treating them like pokemon, where the well being of your rotom phone goes above all else, and is more of a symbiotic relationship. Rotoms excess energy given by the usage of being a phone, and the enjoyment of possessing technology, but still having to be sustainably fed and let out of their casing when they want.

I have so much tiny world building to do in my vers of the bw story, Funnily enough I think the existence and usage of the Rotom Phones themselves gives Team Plasma (And N's grievances) more weight. It'll also be fun to play with what that means since each of the trio receives them from professor juniper...I was also thinking about giving Shep a Riolu more early in the story since its a friendship evolution and well *gestures.* I dont need to change too much about the world itself but its just taking things from new canon and implementing it where itd make sense.

Realized that Because Shep’s prexisting starter is a Charmander that the tepig line doesnt really make an appearance in the story,,, well outside shep’s video calls with his mom throughout his journey since she is the one who has the remaining Tepig. Guy who talks about his lore without explaining it although tbf it allllll exists in my head i just need an excuse to write it all out. Anyway, shep and his relationship w his charmander is uber important to the story since charmander’s evolutions also coincide with shep’s growth as a person. Its really neat just trust me bro
