I’m very aware that I haven’t been here for some time; and for that I apologize. Real life has been extremely stressful and I haven’t had opportunity to play Fable. My muse has been fleeting, but I have missed Theresa terribly. I am hoping to return to her: that is, if the fandom is still interested in her? If not I understand, but I miss roleplaying here massively.

"The darkness has yet to be destroyed fully, Reaver. Until then, Albion is still under great threat. A threat that promises to tear apart lives, including your own. The Crawler was not even the start of what I have seen. I'd thought you would want to listen, if not for others, then for yourself. But if I am mistaken, then I shall bother you no further."
——“It is not that I do not understand your visions. It is simply that I do not care about them.”

"Perhaps you will think differently if I explain?"
“Is that so? You’ll forgive me if I don’t really believe you. I don’t take much stock in claims of visions.”

"Well, well..." The hooded figure drew nearer, his amber eyes narrowing, burning with hatred. "So we meet again, Witch. It has been a while... But not long enough."
"I wondered when our paths would cross again, Jack."She is not afraid. She tells that to herself, a fully grown woman, a beingperhaps not even considered mortal any longer, for how long she has lived. But it is hard to be strong, when the carefully closed off memories of herchildhood come flying back with force, the memories of the pure fear, and terror she felt hammering in her ribcage, and the pain, burning hot, it waslike having not just her eyes, but the very threads of her soul slashed to ribbons.Theresa pauses, raising her hands to push back her hood, a gesture rarely done. She tilts her head fractionally, before folding her hands, and continuing to speak."I thought it too good to be true, when my brother claimed you to be dead."It seemed her dearest Hero of Oakvale had been wrong.

Did It Hurt?

"You cannot even begin to imaginethe pain I faced. Being blinded wasnot all the agony I felt - much of it,was the emotional knowing I wouldnever see again."

"Did it hurt... When I cut out your eyes?! *laughs*"

He’s despicable. A monster to her, and thefact that he laughs makes it all the worst. Shefeels a pang of anger, distress, and it shows brieflyon her features - but Theresa calms herself, unwillingto fuel his flame further and bring him any sick enjoyment out of the tragedy that plagued hernightmares for years. After-all...she'd only been a child. “It did.” The seer answers, voice quiet, “I was in immense agony. I truly thought I would die as aresult of such pain.”
And yet, the corners of her lips curl into that small, knowing smile.
"But I aught to thank you. You helped me unlock the fullpotential of my powers. I may be blinded, but not to the truth. You did not hinder me weak, Jack. You made mestronger."

If you had warned people earlier of your visions, Oakvale would of been saved from the bandits.

“I was a child.”Only a child. Barely eight. Who would of believeda child’s stories of such suffering? Of such pain? She hadn’t known her dreams would of becomesuch vivid reality. None of her other dreams hadcome true until then.”I did not understand how to use my power. If I could turn back time, I would of spoken out. I would of…done something.”Would she? That would of changed the fateof everything. If she could fiddle with everything, cause a loophole in the current events, would she?For father. For mother. For her brother, she would. But she couldn’t. And besides, had she spoken out,Oakvale would still of been destroyed by Reaver.Fate was a sure thing, and there was no escaping it."There is no use in pondering on such things now."
