I don’t think Sue really cares what happens with the death game. 

She likely knew Gin was downstairs at this point, as he yelled out loud enough that Sara could clearly hear him in the pink room. Yet, despite likely knowing that at least one participant was downstairs with them, she still talks about the chip anyway. Apparently, she is loud enough that someone tells her to be quiet.

Plus, when this person voices their worry, she only laughs and tells them it would be fun if the participants found a chip that could disable the security. 

So, I don’t think Sue cares that much about the death game, which could be why she’s so willing to disrupt the second main game by exposing Gashu’s card meddling. It makes you wonder if the theory that she’s a traitor carries any weight. Or perhaps she’s much more loyal to chaos than the company.
