I am so blessed to have my princess back home with me. We are visiting family right now and Tessi gave us a scare. We were out eating dinner and we left Tessi at a relatives house in an old dog crate that they had, and no one was home with her. When we got back to the house, about an hour and a later, Tessi was gone. She broke the crate and broke one of the living room windows and took off. When we realized she was gone we all started searching the neighborhood for her. Based on what the neighbors said about seeing her, she’d only been gone for about 30 minutes at the time that we got home. We looked and looked at yelled her name and whispered her name and clapped and everything for HOURS. Finally, about 30 minutes ago, we had to give up for the night. We had been searching for Tessi both on foot and in the car for about 5-6 hours and we had to rest. We went inside and started to settle down for bed. But then Jessica had to go back out to the car for something. And thats when she heard a little noise, like metal smacking against eachother. A noise that Tessis collar always made when she was running. Thinking it might be her, Jessica sat quietly on the porch for a few minutes and then she heard the noise again. She started saying Tessis name and saw her little head pop up by one of our car tires. Jessica repeatedly called her name and Tessi came to her. My baby saw our car pull up and layed right next to one of our tires. She definitely knew it was our car. I am so grateful that she is with us and safe.
