Was online shopping for more merch, saw a cute plushie of them, and no way... did the store just mislabel them as 'Nobita'...

Like, all six of them was labeled Nobita, and the store just thought they were variations of him in different expressions and colors.

I understand the similarity because of the generic 80's anime style... but I just... no...

This wasn't the first time. At school, a classmate saw Ichimatsu on my phone lock screen, and said "You watch Doraemon?"

And once, I was with my cousins at a reunion and was scrolling through my phone with pics of Karamatsu, and my cousin asked me, "why do you have a crush on Nobita?"

Uhuhuhu, noooooo... 😭 Do not compare my mans to that kid please!! I don't have a crush on Nobita!

This year's Osomatsu-san Christmas cake 2023 🎂

I should've stayed another week in Japan then maybe I could've made it to this year's selling of it 🥺 tsk should've went there Christmas.

Also off note, just went through their page, is it me or does the majority of their advertisments for Osomatsu-san cakes mostly have Karamatsu and Ichimatsu as representatives XDD

Like for almost every year and type of event, whether it's Christmas, their Birthday, White Day or Valentine's.

Maybe they sell the most that's why? Those popular jerks. Advertising representatives.

Extra: Here's a little more again from the second to the last art piece in TeamLab Planets in the Japan trip if you guys wanna see.

The Falling Universe of Flowers.

But stay long enough, and you'll start to wonder whether the flowers are falling towards you, or you're falling towards them.

Honestly gave me a bit of an existential crisis, because all you do is continuously fall into the endless dark abyss but it's infinitely filled with flowers.

It was like being at the edge of the universe, or life after death, and that's what you see.

The flowers felt like the emotions or experiences you've encountered throughout your life and are reliving them as they pass by.

As if that's the eternity of what the afterlife will be like, a constant reflection of what you've done, how you felt, and who you were while you were alive.

Makes you question, what kind of flowers will you see in your eternal abyss in the afterlife?

Would they mostly bring good and happy feelings? Or would they be filled with bitterness, resentment, and sadness?

How had you chosen to live and feel throughout your life --the life which you would now endlessly cycle over through for all of eternity.

DAY 7

Giant Moving Gundam Robot show will be starting soon!

It's too bad I couldn't bring Karamatsu and Ichimatsu to TeamLab Planets, there was a wet part and I didn't wanna risk dropping them.

But their colors, blue and purple, was everywhere in all the arts, so I was still with them in a way.

DAY 6

You know, there was once a time when this was you guys.

When I visited Japan back in 2017, I regret not being a big fan back then, because I remember being surrounded by Osomatsu stuff during the year release of season 2. In the mall, on buildings, posters, convenience stores, and so many collabs, Osomatsu-san was so popular.

But now y'all are washed up and replaced by Jujutsu Kaisen's trend XDD but don't worry I still like you, so you guys still have fans somewhere.

😎: Ichimatsu, are you okay with just eating a sweets cream sandwich? Heh, you will keep being a string-bean boy if you do not eat properly.

😒: What about you, who eats a fully-loaded meat bento box in one train ride?

Karamatsu has an unbalanced diet of pork, beef, and karaage. While Ichimatsu subsists on sweets and treats which you could hardly ever call a meal.

Well, you boys better eat now, it's going to be a long but relatively short bullet train ride to Tokyo.

I think I saw a guy who was wearing an Ichimatsu jacket? Idk I didn't have the guts to ask him to turn around, the man was eating 😭

I mean, it could just be a regular purple hoodie, but what are the chances there's a normal version of that type of hoodie with that shade of purple around here where almost everyone is wearing black, gray, white, brown for the cold fall??

Something Ichimatsu would be wearing during the winter hehe.

Guys, it finally happened. We got lost between trains, and a kind Japanese guy approached me to help. He spoke half in Japanese and English.

I finally got to use what little Japanese I knew to communicate. But fudge, I think I spoke rudely maybe? And I used 'Ore' instead of the general 'Watashi'. I didn't end my sentences in '-masu'.

AND I BLAME YOU TWO!

About 99% of my Japanese is from watching you guys talk.

I mean it, I really did learn the minimum amount of Japanese I have solely from you two. And you both talk so casually and use 'Ore' constantly!

Anyways, at least I had the basic decency to know how to say 'Arigatou'. Thanks so much to him, bro walked us all the way to the station himself 😭

He was the good fortune that came to me after losing the 1000 yen in that arcade. Ichimatsu was right about 戒め！

DAY 4

Kura Sushi 🍣! Where the sushi is on a conveyor belt. We spent about 45 plates of sushi and it amounted to around 6000円 which was a fairly decent price (⁠✯⁠ᴗ⁠✯⁠)

I got some charms (Omamori 御守) from the shrine for a couple of my friends.

Remember those handmade charms Ichimatsu made for Karamatsu in that one official fan anthology.

I'd have like some made by Ichimatsu too, it shows he cares. But I guess the ones from the temple will do.

Also that last omamori is for me, the money charm, or rather, prosperity charm. Cuz imma need money back from all the stuff I bought recently here in Japan (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)

Whenever I pull out some money I just think "Look it's the man in the 1000円 bill who Hajime Shisaka's hair was inspired from!"

DAY 5

😎: Ohhh~ my dear deer, please do not look at us that way, we are not food.

😒: Ah, sorry I only have cat food.

Fed some deer at the park today 🦌 You can bow at them and they'll bow back when you feed them. So cute!

Well, that was a lie.

No good fortune cast down upon me in this arcade.

I spent 1000円 on you, why Karainu. Why couldn't you just come home with me 😭? With that money I should've just bought the real deal and not on a crane game.

Oh, well. Let's just enjoy some crepe to cope 🥲🍨

For the fortune, I'll just remember what Ichimatsu said. Punishment! When there's something bad that happens, something equally good is bound to happen too!

😎: Ohh~ sorry burazza, I was getting my perfect fashion ready for this perfect day.

I overslept and nearly missed the early train.

😒🔪: Hehe... this ride looks really fun. Oi, Kusomatsu let go of my hand and get out of the line if you're going to be scared the whole ride.

I'm going to Japan in a few months, and you know how the show usually has collabs with cafes?

Their latest collab available right now this 2023 is with Charaum Cafe.

And I would've loved to start booking for a seat there right now and ordered all the Ichimatsu items on the menu.

The Ichimatsu's Esperkitty Ginger Ale drink and Ichimatsu's Omurice meal.

And everyone's dessert item, because they all look really good tbh.

I would've gotten a little souvenir straw or photocard of them too.

But unfortunately I'm not going to Tokyo later in the year, but to Osaka, so no Osomatsu-san cafe for me 😔 unless there's one in Osaka but I doubt there would be.
