Also, just curious…has there ever been a Psycho Pass AU Sherliam fanfic?

Also, how does the image look on your end? When I looked at my previous post on my phone, I found that the William and Louis piece looked too dark. However, it was fine on my computer and drawing tablet. The brightness on my computer and drawing tablet is always set to the lowest, so I will get better color accuracy when it comes to printing. I made the shadows over the characters a bit lighter. Overall, I want the lighting of the characters to fit in with the background while still making it visible.

More Moriarty the Patriot X Psycho Pass Cosplay!

I’m trying out different lighting methods, and I also found this tutorial on how to draw cityscape backgrounds, so I’m also trying that out.

Louis is cosplaying as Gu-sung Choe, the hacker guy with mechanical eyes, who was always with Makishima until he was killed.

Also, I had forgotten in my previous post that Makishima was a teacher at one point! Even more similarities between him and William.

I am currently rereading Moriarty the Patriot, but I’m reading the fan-translated version, and WOW!!!! The fan translation is SO MUCH more clearer, accurate, and emotional!!!

For example, the scene where Sherlock found the documents William placed at the old orphanage and was looking at William’s and Louis’s birth certificates.

I thought for a minute that William and Louis had the same name. (×﹏×)

The fan translation has three dots between each speech bubble, indicating that Sherlock is taking a brief pause to turn to the next document, while the official translation feels like he is reading everything from one document.

The same is true for the scene on the bridge in the anime. In BOTH the sub and the dub, William calls Sherlock “Sherly.” Meanwhile, in the official translation of the manga, William calls Sherlock just…”Sherlock.”

THE OFFICIAL TOOK OUT THE SUBTLE RELATIONSHIP/CHARACTER GROWTH BETWEEN THEM!!!!!

Sherlock cosplaying as Kogami Shinya

I think Sherlock looks more like the Psycho-Pass movie/season 3 Ginoza, to be honest. Both characters are looking for the perpetrator behind the string of crimes however Kogami’s pursuit is fueled by revenge while Sherlock’s is by his love of mysteries. Both act on their own sense of justice however Kogami chooses to satisfy his personal vengeance in the end while Sherlock tries to find another way for both him and William to atone.

I don’t have much to say in comparison with Sherlock and Kogami since they don’t have too much in common in terms of character and motivation, other than both are detectives looking for a criminal mastermind, both do things outside of the system and both are habitual smokers.  (￣ ￣|||)

Sorry if I’m not articulating my thoughts very well.

WIP of Sherlock cosplaying as Kogami

I am posting this because I am freaking out about how I’m unable to see the comments/replies in the notes of my William cosplaying as Makishima post all of a sudden and I need to vent the stress.

I can still see the comments/replies notes if I view my blog from my dashboard however if I view my blog from the URL (you know the “blogname.tumblr.com”) address I can’t see my comments/replies notes, and it’s ONLY this post that I can’t see the comments/replies notes. Also, I haven’t turned the comments/replies on my off it is still on the last time I checked.

Did this happen because I was checking the post notes too much while not logged in or checking using incognito mode because I didn’t want the cookies?

William cosplaying as Makishima Shogo

I recently got into Moriarty the Patriot. The thing that convinced me to watch/read MTP was that the illustrator who worked on the manga also worked on the manga adaptation of Psycho-Pass. I am a HUGE fan of Psycho-Pass, I have watched all the seasons, movies, and OVAs.

William looks a lot like Makishima Shogo, who was the main villain of the first season.

Like…if William grew his hair out and wore just his dress shirt and pants, he’ll look like Makishima

Which isn’t surprising since they have the same illustrator

William's character also reminds me a lot of Makishima as both characters are what’s known as “the Moral Villain”. Which is a type of character whose ideologies and morals you agree with, however you disagree with their methods. Both are trying to dismantle an oppressive society through the use of crime. However, Makishima has no problem killing innocent people to achieve his goals. He would provide resources to people with dangerous tendencies to commit and get away with heinous crimes, all to make the populace realize they live in an environment where free will and human expression no longer exist—an environment where everything is stuck in eternal stagnation, where humanity cannot move forward.

I’m not very good at articulating my thoughts, sorry if this sounds like a mess  (シ_ _)シ

I bought the background from the Clip Studio Asset store, I’m also starting to think maybe I should have also bought some cyberpunk pattern brushes, but then I have to justify the purchase, and I don’t draw sci-fi art all.
