Are Vape Pens Safe to Use?
I enjoy sharing knowledge and educating people about things especially when it comes to vaping and technology in general. A very common question that I hear is: are vapor pens bad for your health? I will try my best to explain exactly how these vaporizer pens work, what is contained in the cartridges, and whether or not you should be concerned about using them. Vape pens which includes electronic cigarettes and e hookah pens are electronic devices although it only consists of two electronic components. The first component is the battery which is what makes up a bulk of the size of the pen. There are reusable vape pens where you can recharge the battery and there are those that are disposable, where you cannot recharge and reuse the vaporizer after you've gone through the battery and/or the cartridge. The battery is usually a small sized one, nothing to be concerned about and usually in the 1000-1500 mAH range which contains about as much or slightly less than most smartphones. The second and most important part of the vaporizer is the atomizer which is a little component that heats up and vaporizes liquids (if you heat up a liquid, it turns into vapor and evaporates, duh!). That is pretty much it for the electronic components of a vape pen. What is actually being vaporized is usually a liquid contained in a cartridge. For those who are looking to quit smoking and are using vape products to cut the habit, their cartridges will often contain liquid nicotine. When you purchase e juices and e cigs, you will notice that there are many options in terms of nicotine levels including some that contain no nicotine at all. For the purpose of this article, we will be referring the pens that do not have nicotine because they are more widely used. The liquid that is contained within the cartridge often consists of propylene glycol and fruit juice concentrates. Fruit concentrates are the same stuff that you drink when you buy most juices from the local grocery store, they are often made with concentrates plus water to dilute it. The propylene gycol is something that many people have never heard of even though it's used to produce a lot of foods that we consume. Some foods that contain PG includes frosting and ice cream. It is FDA approved and safe to use. In short, yes, vape pens as long as no nicotine is present, are safe to use! That means if you choose to purchase from a brand like Fantasia, which produces only nicotine free products, you are safe!

Choosing an E Juice or E Hookah Flavor
There are many flavors when it comes to e juices and electronic hookah pens, so how do we know what we will enjoy the most? Well, typically the flavors are produced by using fruit juices derived from the actual fruit itself. That also means that if you have a fruit allergy, in some cases, you can actually experience an allergic reaction to the fruit juice vapor! Anyway, generally the rules for choosing e juice flavors come down to what flavors we actually enjoy in actual juices. The reason why we say juices rather than foods is because for example: we may really love eating bacon and it is our favorite food in the world, but a bacon flavored juice might be a bit disgusting. This does not stop many manufacturers and designers to create odd food flavored e juices, but that doesn't mean that it will appeal to everyone. Some may choose to try these flavors out of curiosity or because it is usually a food that they really enjoy, but be careful when you choose flavors like that. In many cases, the fruit flavors taste different from what we are used to. I for example, do not like grape flavored juices and usually wouldn't choose to buy a grape flavored product. However, I find that Fantasia's Purple Haze (which is the Royal Grape flavor) to be very enjoyable and actually one of my favorites among the many great flavors offered by Fantasia. There are many vape companies that make flavors just for the sake of the flavor rather than trying to perfect the taste of it so that it is appealing and enjoyable to a larger demographics. That is why I choose to only purchase from brands that I already trust and that have reviews. Fantasia is one of such brands although I'm not sure if they just sell the e juices. However, buying their disposable e hookah pens have been working fine for me and they are also nicotine free. If you don't know what flavor you want, you may be able to find local vape stores that will allow you to test their flavors in their store. I personally don't like paying $10-$15 bottle per e juice so I elect to purchase them online, but do your test runs and see how it goes. Also, as a side note, you should remember that vaping was originally designed for those that are looking to quit cigarettes and most e juices will contain nicotine in them. If you are not normally a tobacco user, avoid the nicotine products.
