This was a chapter that has been BREWING in my head for 3 years. And to finally be able to write it out is so exciting for me. The end is definitely near! What will happen to Yui? What does the witch Amelia truly want? And can things ever be the same for Mifuyu?

(oh wow this has been in my drafts and i never posted....im late but oh well) By the lovely @equinox-86, I made a cute little relationship chart with Mifuyu! This is a more overall general viewing of all of the boys as of right now. I'd like for her to interact with the Tsukinami's and Kino at some point in a story one day but, for now they're strangers! Crushes are pretty obvious but I cannot tell if it's one-sided or if she tries to pursue on her own outside of her story but it shows she likes two very different people LOL. At a young age, Mifuyu is rather sharp when she was younger and had a sour tongue towards her peers unless around her only friend. Tomboyish, she would always get into trouble and be heavily against the religious teachings at the orphanage, in addition for sticking up for kids who would be picked on by others. This behavior would continue until she was adopted.

Ryusei, her new father, took note of Mifuyu's withdrawn behavior after they left the orphanage and always made sure she was loved and taken care of. Her walls would soften and she would become a bit of a prankster, always teasing her aunts and always laughing. She would also become sociable within clubs at her school, always studying and being an honor roll student. This would take a harsh turn after her father dies of an unexpected death in line of duty.

Mifuyu would become cynical and harsh, cutting off all of her long hair and isolating from others until her third year rolls around. She would be seen as a 'delinquent' but not do any activities of one. Having a bit of a temper problem, her edges would be smoothed after attending therapy (and those who she surrounds herself with) but this came at the risk of social awkwardness around others, and slight co-dependency issues. Sarcastic and courageous, she always sticks out her neck for others- lacking self-preservation. Mifuyu will always be determined and willful in the face of potential danger.

Barbed wire scars trace the young woman's hands and parts of her back after an accident that happened before shortly being adopted. Freckles decorate her face that compliment her sharp, yet relaxed silver eyes.

*Originally a Danganronpa OC as the "Ultimate Investigative Reporter." *Concept began after revisiting Outlast. *Mifuyu Satomi is just a regular, good ole' human! Nothing strange or weird about her at all! *Mifuyu attempted throw rocks at doves purely because the priest told her they were God’s messenger. When asked why she did it by the nuns, she says: “I wanted them to tell God about rocks.” To prove he was real or not.

I Have Returned! Chapter 24 is OUT NOW!!!!

Everything reaches a boiling point... Chapter 24: Siege is published on Wattpad, Ao3, Quotev, and Fanfic.net (along with the chapter Voices since I forgot to upload this one to FF lol. Since there's a cooldown on FF, allow about an hour for them to show up!) Hi!! It's been awhile!! I've been super busy with other interests in mind and just life in general. I finally got the wind in me to do another chapter when I realized this story is 3 years old. Isn't that nuts?! DL has certainly changed my life and this story will always mean so much to me-- so I want to do it justice by finishing it! once the story is finished i plan to go back and rewrite some earlier chapters to be slightly better at consistency. especially with nicknames. SO THIS IS WHAT REIJI AND YUMA CALL MIFUYU RESPECTFULLY; Reiji: "探偵" --> Tantei-san; Miss Detective Yuma: "そばかす"-> Sobakasu-chan; Freckles *Freckles is mostly used by Yuma himself, but this can also be applied for Ayato as well or whenever i can think of more creative nicknames *I asked my partner what is the correct japanese word for "detective" cause I don't trust google translate, and he just says [tantei]...imagining Reiji saying that makes me kick my feet in joy so I was SOOLD.

“Tch,” he didn’t appreciate being called a dumbass when he was trying to be nice. “I don’t have to help you, you know.”

But he grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her through the crowd of semi-drunk patrons. Not outside was a struggle, every corner of this club seemed to be crowded. But he found a small bubble of respite near the water fountain at the back. Alrick pushed Mifuyu into the free space nearest the wall.

Once they were mostly alone he rounded on her. “What are you even doing here?” Gah. She let the poison slip from her again. Anytime that she was already frustrated she lashes out who tries to help. It’s a habit she is actively fixing but combining this with her fear of tight spaces made her a pretty irritable kitty cat.

As she is pushed up against the wall, she waves her scarred hands in surrender.

“Damn, I’m sorry. I got…freaked out.” Mifuyu looks to the side and then looks back at Alrick.

“I’m here for that…thing. That happened here. Remember, mystery boy?” ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾　　☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙
