Okay it seems that here people don't know anything about the news of Fate on Netflix.

Beatrix is a NEW character that isn't going to substitute Tecna. She's quite of a fusion of the Trix: she thinks Alfea hides an obscure secret, like a chamber of secrets or something. Cloud tower doesn't exist in the live action, so the evil girl is a fairy. She's also supposed to be a history nerd, from what some leaked scripts say.

Artibani confirmed that Terra is a new character, based on Flora's personality but SHE IS NOT FLORA. Terra means Earth in Italian.

He also said that Tecna isn't going to appear in Fate, but "probably" we could see Flora and her later. So stop complaining, there's a big chance that a certain Latina and a certain nerd are gonna appear if the show goes well and they confirm a season 2 (it's planned to cover all the first 3 seasons, so I suggest to support the series).

The only problem y'all should be mad about is Musa that is now white. I think the actress embodies the character pretty well, but Applebaum isn't an Asian surname and her features are obviously caucasian.

And y'all should be happy they decided to add a chubby Winx, you always wanted a chubby girl and now that you have it you complain about her ethnicity when she's confirmed being a new and different character.

Anyway I stan the Winx cast, they exude chaotic energy and I'm totally here for it!

RWBY theory: a character based on the Black Knight

We’ve all seen the Black Knight stock character used in fantasy fiction before and considering RWBY’s fairy tale roots, it wouldn’t surprise me if someone based on the Black Knight might appear in the later seasons. Why do I think that?

Simple: Jaune Arc.

Jaune’s motif is based on a knight, and it’s clear that he is supposed to be the White Knight of Ozpin’s faction. He represents the side of good, justice and honour.

So if Ozpin has a White Knight, it stands to reason that Salem should have her own Black Knight, right? A dark reflection of Jaune, someone who got lost on the wrong path and now fights on the side of evil.

RWBY seems to love the idea of counterparts and a counterpart of Jaune would be a great addition to the story; what he would become had he let the darkness take him.

As for who the Black Knight should be, there are 3 options;

Gilles de Rais

@megashadowdragon had an excellent theory that, because of Jaune being based on Joan of Arc, a character based on Gilles De Rais could make an appearance. De Rais was an ally of Joan of Arc and megashadowdragon’s theory is that this character could be a potential enemy to Jaune. If that’s the case, he could be the perfect fit for the Black Knight to Jaune’s White Knight.

Mordred

Another of megashadowdragon’s theory is that Jaune’s secondary inspiration could be King Arthur himself, and that the Relic of Deatruction is based on Excalibur. If that is the case, who better to be the Black Knight than Mordred? Think about it.

Tyrian Callows

This one is a bit out there, but I’m adding Tyrian to the list because of his comment towards Jaune in Volume 4. If Salem has plans for Jaune, Tyrian is probably the one to go after him. She’s probably going to give him some upgrades so that he has a fighting chance.
