FEAR; Thinking again about how enduring traumatic situations while you’re young and your brain is still growing and wiring itself can cause serious mental health issues. + Then also thinking about how Robin is so profoundly traumatized from her past experiences over twenty years (from 8 to 30 years old) that her brain literally rewired itself to feel no fear unless it’s something truly terrifying to her (i.e abandonment, betrayal by someone she actually allowed herself to trust).

She nearly chokes on her shallow glass of wine at the spider’s abrupt inquiry upon sliding onto the bar stool beside her. Clearing her throat quietly, Robin glances to his face with those three eyes of hers, and he looks nearly giddy…Gaze flicks down to the cans, then back to him, then back to the cans, then back to him-

Glass is slowly set down, and bewildered as she is as to both the purpose of this bold request and its absurdity… she can’t say no to Angel.

Slowly, she’s reaching out, eyeing him almost warily for any punchline or prank as she pulls the empty cans over to herself. Leaning back, they’re placed neatly in front of her.

Plush heavy chest is lifted carefully into talon tipped palms, almost spilling out between said fingers…only to be dropped unceremoniously atop the cans.

CRUNCH

Sitting back, they’re completely flattened, and Robin slides them back over to the Spider. “…How was that?”
