Have- have you thought this through? I regret to inform you that memory foam *is* remembering… it’s original shape. Unlike normal foam, which deforms a little over time. That’s kind of the whole schtick, and you even mentioned it yourself
Memory foam is such a stupid name like it doesn't remember shit. It just springs back into its original form no matter what you do. It should be called amnesia foam

Is it considered a boycott if someone who *can* afford it decides not to buy on the grounds that it‘s unjustifiably priced for many fans who can‘t? What about a general movement not to buy games over like $20-30 or something? Is that a boycott?
Genuinely wondering where the line is. Does a boycott have to be for moral reasons not directly related to business practices?

Found the infinitieth monkey on a typewriter
Gothic churches: God is real and loving and I live in fear that one day He will discard me for the fact that I will never be worthy of His love. Gothic revival churches: If you're ugly that's a sign that God doesn't love you. Brutalist churches: God either permits me or He is powerless to stop me. churches that gather in rented basements: Our priest who speaks to God directly told us that we're not in a cult so we're ok.

In short, we are now trapping the LLMs in Nightmare Boxes where everything they hallucinate suddenly becomes real… but a twisted, malevolent version. This surely won’t go horribly wrong.
“Slopsquatting” in a nutshell:
1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal, that’s how you get math packages and stuff but
2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but
3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So
4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

it’s fun that Mormonism is based off pseudo-archeology and Scientology is based off pseudo-psychiatry. By that logic the big American New Religious Movement of the 21st century is gonna be based on… pseudo-computer science?
