"Ignoring me is one thing, but he doesn't get to ignore you" is probably the most percy line I've ever heard. Because in the end, percy would die a thousand times over if it meant protecting his friends. He can get angry over the things he has to go through, but he will be filled with a righteous, God fighting fury, if his friends are forced to do the same

things I noticed rewatching the pjo premiere episodes:

-percy and grover swap sandwitch ingredients

-rick riordan cameo

-eddie!! gabe's buddy from the books

-sally wiping tears away while percy wakes up in the car (she know he's leaving her)

-percy tricking his mom by tapping her on the far shoulder to make her look the opposite way

-luke saying "see you on the other side" to annabeth - foreshadowing??? (It was foreshadowing in Hamilton!!)

-annabeth must've been so exasperated watching percy floss on that rock

-clarisse's scream as her spear is taken contrasted with the victory cries

Okay we have considered the concept of Apollo getting a CHB bead once he becomes a god again but what if it doesn't stop there. What if year after year the campers keep giving him beads and he keeps adding them to his necklace until there comes a point where he looks like this

the way percy just leaps for annabeth the second he sees her being pulled toward the pit. this girl was descending into literal hell. a place the gods themselves wouldn't dare to go. and without hesitation. he chose her over everything else.

gotta give it to the percy jackson fans, you really do love your main character. for other franchises, fans usually place the #1 blorbo title on a specific side character. but in percy jackson you really love your percy jackson
