What would you call the "appropriate channels"?

The people in the discord and even some mods are clearly against people who dislike the game/dev.

The mods have made clear on the server that they won't punish people who harass others in the name of supporting this game/dev as a lot of people in the server who harassed the people who did not like the devs were not punished at all.

And not banning a predator just because of hearsay? There was literally screenshot evidence of him and multiple victims coming through about it.

Just admit that you want to protect your favourite developer.

If you had looked at the tumblr blogs of the people they have not only have shown proof of what is happening, but also show their experiences with harassment in the server. Yet all you can do is ignore all of it because you don't want to deal with the fact that the developers and the mods are complicit with everything that is happening.

The progression of VotV's development is garbage. Pt. 1

This game has turned into another Yandere Simulator where real development is practically non-existent. Every new update is utterly broken, and most of the added content is just easter eggs and random nonsense for the sandbox mode.

VotV is already at version 8.2, yet nothing meaningful has changed in the core gameplay, mechanics, or horror elements. Sure, the redesign is cool, but the game feels like a hollow shell of what it once was. At this point, it’s clear the developers don’t care about actually finishing it.

For every "big update," they add a handful of new events and signals, but the rest is just pointless filler, easter eggs, memes, self-inserts, and features that serve no purpose. It’s obvious they have no idea how to make the game more engaging, so they just throw in whatever useless gimmicks they can think of. What was once a signal-hunting horror game has now devolved into a *G-Mod*-style shitpost sandbox.

The horror aspect is completely gone. The eerie atmosphere that made the game unique has vanished, replaced with nothing remotely scary. How can anyone take this game seriously when you can find?

All the actual horror elements have gone stale. Replaying the game is boring because the cheap jump scares are laughable.

The Arirals were never scary and never will be.

The Rozitals, while awesome and underrated, aren’t frightening.

Every alien in the game is either dumb or not scary at all.

The only exception is the Greys—ironically, the most underdeveloped addition to the game’s lore. They clearly weren’t originally planned, as Dr. Nose repeatedly stated they wouldn’t be included. That changed because of Joel, the only major YouTuber still giving this game attention.

The Greys are the best part of VotV, yet they don’t get the same focus as the Arirals. Their lore is barebones because Dr. Nose cares more about his "six-tiddie catgirl aliens" than actual depth. The Greys were the only good addition post 6.2, but they’ll likely never be expanded upon.

The game is losing relevance fast. Former fans are abandoning it due to the developers’ scummy behavior and the fandom’s toxicity. Even view counts on new VotV videos, especially Joel’s have dropped significantly.

The only thing keeping this game alive is the upcoming multiplayer mod, but even that won’t save it from dying before it reaches Alpha.

VotV drama rant Pt. 1

The VotV developers and their fanbase have repeatedly shown they have no shame in enabling harm toward others. The moderators of their official server have allowed harassment and bullying to go unchecked, even outright banning victims who spoke out, particularly those who supported Kaiden during the drama.

What’s especially scummy is how they permitted users to promote hate groups dedicated to harassing individuals until they were called out. Only then did they quietly remove the evidence to maintain a clean image.

The VotV team clearly wants to silence and villainize critics while letting their supporters target them unchecked. Even those who simply say, "Don’t harass people," are treated as enemies by the fanbase. This is beyond unacceptable and very disgusting.

Repost from @decadentqueenharmony account It's funny how a majority of votv fans rely on labelling people who don't like votv dev as "alt accounts" as a way to cope. No matter what the best counter-argument they can give is by calling you a sock puppet account of Kaiden. Yet they don' provide proof on how you are an alt accounts. It's so brain dead to see a lot of these people claim that the people calling them out are fake. Just now I saw this post making claims that these bloggers are alt accounts of Kaiden yet if you fact check these accused accounts you would see these are real people and not sock puppet accounts. @maryvioletique7708 @prestidth1 @zhanael (Sorry for @ing)
