caught up on chicago fire and i have to say I hope violet and hawkins last. all that jealousy talk between the girls had me pause because chicago one loves pining and going through other relationships before two end up together and violet and gallo have been having that dance for a while BUT this time I hope hawkami stay good for each other for a change.

ID 1: Buck says, “just wait ‘til [Christopher] gets to his ‘I don’t have to do what you tell me to’ phase.” Eddie cocks his head and responds, “aren’t you still in that phase?”

ID 2: In the grocery store, Eddie angrily gestures between himself and Buck. “I couldn’t even call you to bail me out of jail.” Buck and Bobby both tilt their heads, confused. Lena’s biting her finger. Eddie tries to cover by shrugging awkwardly and saying, “if that was something that happened.”

ID 3: When a racist patient asks Eddie what kind of last name Diaz is, Eddie responds, “my father’s from Mexico. My mother’s Swedish - I can help you out with my Swedish half, but no one told me which half that is.”

ID 4: When Eddie shows up after the tsunami to drop Christopher off with Buck, Buck can’t believe it. “You want me…to watch Christopher?” He asks. Eddie smiles and shrugs, responding, “It’s easy. He’s not that fast.”

ID 5: Two scenes back to back. In the first, Eddie meets Michael at the hospital when he shows up with donuts and coffee for the group waiting to hear about Chimney. Eddie shakes his hand and says, “we haven’t met, but I love you.” In the second, two episodes later, when questioned about how he knows Michael after the bank robbery, Eddie says, “I don’t really know him.”

ID 6: After Buck tries to explain that he’s not a cop and therefor the procedures and rules that they have to follow don’t apply to him, Eddie responds, “then why are you in hospital jail?”

ID 7: After contemplating how to break up with Ana, Eddie awkwardly says, “maybe you should go home first.”

ID 8: During the earthquake, Buck tries to comfort Eddie by telling him the safety protocols of LA schools, “your kid is in the safest place he can be.” Eddie turns to him as they’re climbing into the high rise, and says flatly, “I thought that was a high rise.”

ID 9: The ambulance Buck and Eddie were just in explodes a couple of yards away from them. Bobby and Buck turn to look at Eddie who smiles shyly and points off screen, asking, “you guys hungry?”

ID 10: When Buck shows up as a fire marshall to deliver the 118’s score, Eddie looks down at the folder and up at Buck, and says “you don’t know math.”
