I'm still working.

and I'm still alive.

I was just badly indebted so I worked my ass off last month.

I don't know, I was left with some void inside of me after some stuff happened, got really upset over nothing, made a little kid cry and made a lot of people hate me, eh, I'm unsure if I should even keep updating my blogs, haven't actually drawn anything since last year, only colouring.

That's disgusting.

Merry something for me!

I got a brand new laptop for a very cheap price, couldn't pass the opportunity, as my other one was barely functional, and building a desktop right now would hurt my finances in ways I can't manage to put in words.

Took me a few days to get it up to speed, but I can finally start working.

Now I just need to find me some more time and I'm set.

It's that time of the year again, sadly, I didn't draw anything for the occasion, I just have my best wishes to every single one of you, I'll be absent until probably the second week of january, compromises and all that, so have fun!

Sadly, “soon” is all I can give at the moment!

I thank everyone for their continued support of this blog, even when it’s inactive, I keep getting fascinating messages and other wonderful stuff, I love every single one of you, yes, you! the one behind that screen, you’re the reason this keeps going!

I'm alive!

I've been missing everywhere because of how much work I had and because Mexico is still in a poor state politically speaking, so I've been here and there, anywhere but drawing, up to the point where I sit and try to draw and I realize I'm either very tired, or out of time.

However, now that the situation has stabilized a little bit, I'm finally back and drawing again!, but it'll take me some more time to settle again with some conferences this week and the insect collection still needs to be properly labelled.

But at least I did something right?

I was surprised two days ago when I forgot I left some petri dishes with some fungi cultures lying somewhere in the lab, when I got around to checking them, they were already getting out of the dishes, and were actually getting out of the case.

Looks like I have a new friend!

This week is one of the hardest I've had in my life, and It just started, but somehow, I found the time to start updating Sunset.

Hey there everyone!

I'm having some serious problems in the campus, political unrest in my country is reaching a climax and people are starting to move out and organizing to oppose the government, but how does that affect me and the university?, well, for one I work there, and the syndicate of workers is going on strike, which means no classes, no lectures, and no job for as long as the strike lasts, not to mention the campus was taken by students many times over the last weeks, and I foresee things will only get worse as more high profile colleges in my country are starting to cease activities as protest to the current situation my country is in.

Personally, I'm in the middle point, while I support many pacific movements to achieve a common goal, and I'm not new to being bloody red, I'm against making it so people lose their job and studies in the process, and believe me, I know both sides.

Meanwhile I'm continuing academic activities wherever and whenever I can, and I'm still identifying insects and plants from the last sampling trip, so work will chase after me, even if I'm not really looking for it anyway, just the place changes, be it home, the lab, or a classroom.

And the pay-off of course, food will find a way to my table, even if I have to work as an english teacher..., heh, a biologist teaching english...

Which leads me to my last point, OH GAWDS I WANT TO DRAW MORE SUNSET, I can't draw anything, be it because of time or tiredness, or general helplessness at the situation...

I just want a break... you all deserve better...

That's all for now, I'll go and lose myself in the dark for another while, and I pray things get better.
