HES THE WORST!!!!!!!! He definitely comes off as being an ass when he’s trying to flirt!!! I don’t think he’s mastered the difference between playful teasing and just being plain mean??? Peter @ Maxim: I’ve been drooping subtle hints that I like her. (Peter two hours before @ the lady he loves: I can’t stand you.) 😂😂 No, but I do think he gets better at it the longer he’s known the person he’s trying to flirt with!! It just comes more naturally that way but like if he’s ever trying to pick up randos at like a bar he NEEDS Maxim to be his wingman (and by wingman I mean he needs to stand right next to him and be like “What he means to say is ….”) And you know that doesn’t really work either because having another man have to translate your every word is not sexy. (Long story short, Peter is very single at the moment 😂).

But I do think he goes down to the werewolf bar infrequently. I feel like he enjoys a stiff drink now and again but he also doesn’t have a whole lot of time to spend down there b/c he’s a workaholic and I feel like the person who is most likely to drag him out to do things is Maxim who probably wouldn’t take him to a werewolf bar haha????

Keira has probs drunkenly hit on Peter at least once sorry hahaha  That being said, she’s not looking for anything srs, she mostly just likes to flirt!!  Anyway, I feel like she hangs out at the werewolf bar (since its the only thing open after the moon comes out ;D) on the outskirts of town so if he ever goes there, they might have had a couple nights as drinking buddies.  Besides this, they also sort of peripherally work together, since she works at the police dept and he’s a lawyer, tho she probs doesn’t do too much flirting when they’re on duty so no worries about that hahah

Mostly, Maxim is just super sardonic and like ‘no,’ and like *gives you a withering glare* like ?????? it’s a miracle he has any friends????  But he’s also highkey ride or die like once you’re in w him you’re in forever and Peter is totally in <33333  Also, I feel like they’re sort of the Legolas/Gimli of BMT bc vampire/werewolf friendships are pr atypical hahaha but also the Nelson & Murdock of Fate bc they’re badass do-gooder lawyers with a terrible secret hahaha <33333

HAHAH tbh that’s!!!! 100% true!!!! peter is honestly so generous to the point of being reckless with it???? and he also just doesn’t think like “wait i can only afford to give $25 or else i won’t make rent” until it’s time to pay the rent and he’s like “haha ok cool guess i’ll die” (Also ... do you think they might live together also?????? I feel like there’s every chance Peter got kicked out of his apartment for the above reasons haha and basically ~temporarily~ stayed with maxim and then it just turned into a permanent thing???)

omg!!!! i feel like peter would appreciate juniper so much????!?! because he does try his best but he???? honestly fails so!!! badly!!! And he really needs people to be patient with him/give him more than one chance b/c he will come off as an asshole!!!!! 

Also, I feel like Sage makes Peter and Maxim stay for dinner like everytime they come around mealtimes and so I feel like there may be some opportunity then for them to get to know each other on a more personal level????

June is so!!! grateful!!! to Peter!!  Like, she always craved a different way of life and, by representing her Aunt Hester, Peter was instrumental in furnishing her w that and lkadsjflkjdsf she loves it!!  Also, I feel like she sort of feels like she ~gets Peter bc she also has a bad habit of coming off wrong - like, in different ways probs, but stiLL hahaha  Also, even if he were a total asshole *cough* Maxim *cough* (jk jk) she’d be determined to see the best in him bc that’s just who she is as a person tbh hahaha but fortunately Peter’s not and she’s right!!  skldjfaklsdjf anyway!!  Idk about you, but I feel like these two could totally be friends!!  Or, at least, June feels that way and def wants to get to know him better hahaha

As to how long they’ve been bffs, I guess it kinda depends on when Peter became bffs with Maxim? I feel like it was maybe a year or so after that, tbh. Mainly bc Blythe is an acquired taste, so it takes people a while to warm up to her, plus she’s extremely protective of Maxim, so probably wasn’t super nice to Peter until she figured out he wasn’t gonna mess with her blood brother. Then she probably turned on the sarcastic charm and won him over. lol.

Also Blythe DEFINITELY 100% KNOWS HE IS IN LOVE WITH HER AND THINKS IT’S HILARIOUS. It’s why she flirts with him constantly now to like, vaguely torture him??? But in all honesty she probably doesn’t want to hurt him bc he is her blood brother’s best friend in the world, but like, doesn’t feel the same way so doesn’t know what else to do?

(I need to talk to Kate about it still but tbh I think at some point Blythe had something like a crush on Maxim so like there’s that too?????)

But yeah, Blythe thinks Peter is a decent guy and enjoys casually flirting with him, but like… ugh… she’s really not looking forward to the day where he makes a dramatic declaration of love because she’s not about that life.

I totally love the volunteering idea! Zinnia def is the sort of person that has like, food drives and charity events at her comic shop like ALL THE TIME, so I’m sure if Peter like noticed her, idk, flyer for a Thanksgiving Comic-Read-A-Thon to support the local food pantry and homeless shelter and so stopped by and dropped off some blankets/clothes/food/etc one day at her shop, Zinnia would have been like: “OMG THANK YOU! YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT HELP! PEOPLE WILL BE SO GRATEFUL! YOU’RE FANTASTIC, PLEASE TAKE A COOKIE!” before going back to reading a comic book out loud to a bunch of kids gathered around her. And I could see that possibly charming Peter so he like, idk, kept coming back and helping out and it started becoming like a ~thing~ with them and became a flirtation and eventually a cute relationship!!!!

And yea, I’m definitely here for the breakup being some sort of misunderstanding, especially bc Zinnia is like, still pining after Peter and like!!!! New Rules by Dua Lipa is her LIFE THEME now after their breakup.

So like, I think she has a lot of unresolved feelings and thoughts about the whole thing, so maybe like… Peter THOUGHT he clearly broke up with Zinnia, but she thought they were on, like, just a bit of a pause? Until she saw him with someone else and he like, stopped returning her calls/texts as quickly as he used to? And so suddenly she was like: “oh…. oh, I guess… I guess we broke up??????”

And like, because it’s all unresolved on her side, I agree that one: it’s probably been at least like a year/year and a half since they broke up, and two: they’re friendly, but Zinnia is like…. much more reserved around him than she was even before they were dating, which is kinda against her nature?

ANYWAY aldkjflasjflasdjflj that would have toTALLY charmed him!!!!! Also, I feel like he’s not used to people who don’t know him that well taking a liking to him that quickly???? And just thinking he’s this great person???? And I think that would also help to fuel his attraction??? Like just the fact that she can tell his heart is in the right place, because that’s often something he has a hard time trying to convey lmao

So I can see Peter basically breaking up with her and doing it in this very weird and cryptic way b/c he’s not great with words or emotions and thinking they are on the same page, but they are toTALLY NOT!!!!!!!!!!! And like, as far as why he broke up with her in the first place, it honestly might have been because he was suddenly starting to have feelings for bLYTHE out of nO WHERE and that probably really disarmed him but also made him feel guilty to have feelings for someone while he was with someone else which probably only added to the weird way in which he broke up with her haha and he 100%% didn’t tell her he had feelings for someone else, so the reasoning behind it wasn’t even that clear, which probably also helped her to believe that this was just a temporary thing???? like I feel like he probably vaguely brought up that he was really busy right now as though that was enough to end a relationship haha and god he’s such a mess i’m so sorry!!!!!

Also, I feel like he thought he was probably breaking up with her in the best way possible ??? And if he was just more honest with her she might not have all of this complicated unresolved feelings if she had gotten more closure/understood that things were over instead of this weird in between and then sudden end and #facepalm i’m so sorry about him!!!!!!

So, as i was saying to Jenn, I’m sure these two have met since Peter is helping them w/ their late aunt’s estate. I feel like Peter probably interacts the least w/ Hazel since she’s the youngest (and tbqh Sage probably has taken control of most of this, as she does w/ everything haha ~whoops) but I do think they’d still see each other now and again b/c you know Sage basically forces Peter & Maxim to stay for dinner when they are over at their house late in the evening haha. 

Anyway, Peter has zERO social skills with people he doesn’t know and def can come off as an asshole lawyer w/ no sympathy for you when in fact he feels!!!! a lot!!!!! and just doesn’t realize that he seems insensitive until later and it’s a whole thing haha. Not sure how Hazel would react to him??? thoughts?

So Peter is representing the Blacks as their lawyer in helping to manage and sort out their aunt’s estate, so I’m sure that these two have met??? I think Peter really likes the Black girls and wants to make sure that they feel welcome here, etc. but he’s also reALLy bad at coming off as friendly sometimes when he means well???? Especially when he’s acting in a professional capacity haha he tries not to cross that line of being too friendly (which he’s NEVER in danger of tbh haha) and so instead he can sometimes just seem super rude and abrupt and the most affection they ever see out of him during their time of distress is [ this ] (i’m sorry he’s such a disaster!)

ahhhh i feel like these two were so!!!!!! adorable!!!!! <3333 they are both so kind and helpful!!! I can see where they may have met volunteering or something?? I feel like peter can be a workaholic but he got into his line of work to help people!!! and, if he can, he’s always willing to lend a hand!!! I think that typically ends up just being in monetary donations vs his time b/c he has more of the former, but he does what he can!!!

anyway, not sure what caused them to break up? i haven’t thought much about that, yet, so i’m open to whatever!!! I feel like they are still friendly w/ each other (unless you think they had some kind of messy split? i feel like it would have to be over a misunderstanding though haha b/c they are both so well meaning haha but pete’s social skills are in need of a lot of work so that’s def a possibility!!)
