First question I ever got! Neat! This is a request but I’ll just take this time to put down of some of my own hcs about them lol

I’d like to think they met during some type of high class party that Don and his sister, Dawn snuck into. Real Romeo and Juliet vibes, fully only learned who the other was after meeting.

Don and Meloni would do secret dates where they snuck out, they’d meet up in a hiding space they both like and do cute little private dates.

Meloni is definitely the more chaotic and adventurous one, Don isn’t not adventurous, but he’s more conservative on that front.

I think they’d do hair braiding, both ways. Meloni does Don’s hair and Don does Meloni’s hair.

Meloni probably would find both Don and Dawn cute, and the three of them get along (Meloni is my panromantic queen though she does like Don more)

She took a short leave of absence from the whole hero business to take care of her parents, but now they're a bit older and have been officially adopted by Maad, she's back, and better than ever.

Secret had to have been aware that Slo-bo was dying.

Because of the nature of her powers, she has a connection to death that she can't escape. It's repeatedly established that she can detect its presence, whether someone is dying, or already gone, or if Death is coming and he's on skis.

There's no way she could have not noticed that her teammate, who lives in the same building as her and with whom she's working constantly, is rapidly deteriorating over a period of what can't be more than a few months.

And normally she'll just blurt it out whenever she detects death. But she never mentions anything about what's happening to Slo-bo. The only times we hear about his condition is whenever he chooses to tell someone himself.

Of course she has a lot of concerns of her own distracting her during the time she knows Slo-bo, but...

She probably knows. And she keeps his secret.

So uh have you written fanfiction before rat man? Like self insert, platonic, anything? I feel like you tried at one point then buried it to never see the light again.

I have never understood the point of fanfiction. I have never cared for any fictional world enough to try, and even if I did care enough, I STILL wouldn't understand writing fanfic for said world. I'd rather dedicate that creative energy making my own shit instead - better that, than slurping off the creative energies of someone else; of a world and story that already exists - one of which you cannot canonically affect.
