Brand new Cave Curse. These are the first recordings with Will Gunnerson, Cave Curse’s drummer. Previous to this EP everything that has been released has been solo recordings using a drum machine. Very excited for this new leaf and facet! “Killing Time (Without A Care)” comes out alongside 5 other tracks very soon as a hyper limited cassette from the Italian label, Welcome In The Shit Records. I’ll be re-recording all these songs plus some more with Will on drums for the proper debut Cave Curse full length LP. Out sometime next year on FDH Records in America and P. Trash Records in Europe!

Hussy, The “You Know” (2013)

You know how it goes: The Hussy goes full charge and rock out like there’s no tomorrow. Heather Sawyer’s young, cheery, libidinous vocals get all of us going in keeping up with Bobby Hussy’s grease-fire guitars. We’re all having rip-roaring fun and then this happens: thirty seconds to go, the entire thing melts to nothing. The fun and games stop and it’s serious business. “You Know” all falls apart and slows all the way the fuck down to some analog reel-to-reel shutdown crawl to zero while still keeping its drum beat to the very end. It’s just like K.C. Green’s This Is Fine, but not on paper. It’s a hot drowsy mess on wax.

Today was excellent. Tomorrow Fire Retarded plays Gonerfest 13 at the Murphy's afternoon show! We play at 2:30! This will be my second time playing Gonerfest and I'm honored to get that opportunity! The first time I played was for Gonerfest 9 with The Hussy and it was a very special day for @heatherhussy and myself! I'll never forget it! Top ten days in my life for sure!
