This rose is named "Maggie" she is a Bourbon rose. She has a strong constitution, thrives on neglect and in the heat and humidity of the Deep South. Though she appears to be quite delicate, she's a survivor. Last but not least she has a true old rose fragrance.

This picture is from last fall but I'm still proud of them. These are shitake mushrooms. We inoculated a log earlier last year. Didn't expect to see any so soon, but it was an exceptionally wet year. I think they're kind of pretty. Also tasty.
