The way I see it, even if the ratgrinders don't end up involved in anything in anything suspicious, they still kill little rats and spiders in the forest so they don't have to be actual adventurers and do any good in the world and then at least Kipperlilly gets MAD that people who literally saved the world are sometimes praised for it and claims special treatment (which there isn't!!!!) They could very well just be normal teenagers, but I think they're asshole teenagers. Kipperlilly's rich too so I don't really care shes been a dick so many times. Also Ivy is fantasy racist (??) so that's not....good. And the emo guy made a song about not liking boundaries or something.

However Mary Ann is perfect and I'm obsessed with her and every single piece of information about her is just an autistic trait and she's so me and nobody can ever say a bad thing about her. Fig and gorgug are my favorite kind of best friends like she is pure rebellion but just wants her friends to feel loved, and gorgug is the sweet tall borderline himbo who is so burned out and they just are just trying to take care of each other and support each other, like all of the bad kids are amazing friends but oh my goodness those two I would kill for their friendship since the first season

something i genuinely will always love about fig's character is that she will always stand up for the outcasts or people who aren't considered "cool". like without even missing a beat fig immediately goes to play twister with mazey because ivy wanted to put her down for even suggesting it. it genuinely is one of the best parts of her character and i adore it so much.
