Especially for my American peeps who have to deal with the direct consequences of this, hang in there.

I know, it's scary. I'm scared too.

This election will influence not only this country but the world, and that is absolutely scary.

I'm scared for the people in my life who are immigrants, I'm scared for my black and brown family members, I'm scared for my Asian friends, I'm scared for me and all of my LGBTQIA+ friends and family members, and I'm especially scared for all of the women and AFAB people in my life, including myself, that could and WILL be affected by such a heinous man entering office.

I'm scared, and I know so many of you are scared too.

But luckily, we have till January to for safety plans, to know where to move to escape to if worse comes to worse, and we have time to get active in our communities to make sure so much of his policies don't impact the communities we love and live in.

Let me tell you this to everyone who has been disappointed or will be impacted by the election. LIVE. Live and thrive as your authentic and full self. Yes, you need to be safe, and if being in the closet keeps you the safest then by gods STAY CLOSETED! but NEVER let them snuff out your light. Find a community, among friends or shared interests, and care for it as much as possible.

Live and thrive despite and out of spite of the ones who want you dead, live for YOU and all the people who LOVE YOU. Keep living to see the next day, take it one day at a time. Our existence is rebellion.

Fight for causes that you believe in, and donate if you can. Sign petitions, KEEP FIGHTING.

One day, we will win and thrive in peace.

Talk to the ones you love, reconnect with those you've lost, grive and feel and cope now, and then make plans.

Keep safe y'all, don't stop living, thriving, and fighting <3
