Okay I’m going to discuss something that’s 100% going to start drama and for that reason, I’ll be turning off anon asks. But I can’t sit here silently anymore. 

Yes, I have a Taylor blog and yes, I’ve been ecstatic for Lover - I was salty about reputation as Gorgeous was literally a song about liking/loving Joe while still with Tom. Getaway Car was apparently about using Tom to ‘getaway’ from Calvin as well. Being Tom’s supporter for a decade now but only a couple years supporting Taylor, this was like a punch to my face. Tom honestly has a special place in my heart, as I’ve stanned and respected him as a person for such an immense amount of time that even today, he is still my #1 actor. Heck, when Taylor and Tom went to the Gold Coast and arrived at the airport, I was there and the news reporters titled me as “Tom’s Lone fan” as I was the only Hiddlestoner among all the Swifties. 

Back when reputation was released, I tried my hardest to ignore/skip those two songs and just enjoy the songs and continue to support both individuals. But it was hard. The possibility of Taylor cheating on Tom wasn’t processing for me and I thought I was reading too much into it. But I wasn’t.

With the release of Lover, two more songs just confirm that Taylor was, indeed, loving and possiblty even dating Joe while with Tom Hiddleston. And you know what’s even more fucking disgusting? Swifties are praising this because “she’s found true love with Joe”. She was unfaithful and ya’ll either sweeping it under the rug or treating her as a queen. But if this situation was swapped, it would be World War III. 

Cruel Summer:

The most obvious reference to these feelings come in the bridge, when Taylor sings, “I’m drunk in the back of a car, and I cried like a baby coming home from the bar, said I’m fine but it wasn’t true, I don’t want to keep secrets just to keep you, snuck in through the garden gate every night that summer just to seal my fate.” Taylor hints that she was only able to be with Joe because she was keeping whatever relationship they had a “secret” during that summer together. She also insinuates that she may have been ‘sneaking out’ from her time with Tom to be with Joe, which is what ‘sealed her fate’ with the British actor. After that line, she sings, “I scream for whatever it’s worth, ‘I love you’ ain’t that the worst thing you ever heard.” If Taylor was saying ‘I Love You’ to Tom after she snuck back in, this would be the ‘worst thing’ Joe ‘ever heard….’ because he wanted to be with her.

“I’ve loved you for three summers now but honey, I want them all.” If Taylor and Joe started dating in the fall of 2016, and this song was written before the summer of 2019 (Taylor finished the album in Feb.), then that means the “three summers” must be 2016, 2017 and 2018! So, she seems to be hinting that she was already in love with Joe during that 2016 summer, even though she was with Tom at the time.

What’s worse is seeing Swifties straight-up mock Tom. You’re proud of this situation? 

Yeah, he has the right to be concerned, because it’s probably the first time he’s heard of this and knowing he was fucking cheated on. 

This straight-up feels like a slap in the face. 

And Tom hasn’t been the same since his relationship with Taylor, and it’s upsetting. He’s been seriously hurt and the entire fanbase of Taylor supporting her affair with Joe… wow. And ya’ll proud of it too - and her. As I said, if this was swapped, it’d be a completely different story. This is playing out just like Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift. Both popping up randomly in another country to be papped with a woman who had been dating someone else just weeks before. Both having never participated in something like this before. Both timed with Emmy campaigning. Hiddleswift went to the Colosseum, maybe Chris and Lily will head to the Louvre since it's reopened. 🤣

I wouldn’t put anything past either of them, tbh. Not these days. However, Chris has done something like this before, but it’s been a very long time. He’s not new to the game.

I was in line at Aldi and this girl with two toddlers in front of me had her card declined and she looked so fucking sad and said “let me call my husband real quick” and it was only 18 dollars, so I just paid for it, and she was very sweet and then as she walked off, the lady behind me said `”You know that was probably a scam, right?” and like, even if it was, like what a sad fucking scam, right? 18 dollars at the Aldi. If you’re “scamming” me for some Tyson chicken and apple juice and cauliflower, then just take my fucking money.

“This is why we can’t have nice…….things” (that’s how she sings it, with this huge pause) sounds exactly like a Lorde song and it either to Karlie or Katy or some friend she thinks had done her wrong. Real original.

End Game is a dumpster fire (both she and Ed Sheeran attempt to “rap”)

Dress-“I only bought this dress so you can take it off” is the super sexy lyric her family couldn’t listen to – a song in which the chorus include the line- “I don’t want you like a best friend” which is ODD- it’s supposed to be about sex? You wouldn’t know except she attempts this breathy moan that sounds like a trapped seal.

King of My Heart includes the lyric- “All the boys in their fancy cars, Range Rovers and JagUars (which she says in an emphasized British way) never took me quite where you do.”  Can I assume Calvin has a Range Rover?

Don’t Blame Me and any of the rest are unlistenable.  I won’t even bother.

I’m guessing King of My Heart is the video she shot in London so that will be next.  

Overall- crappy pop that she tries to make edgy with strange, loud, blaring instrumentation and over-produced vocals that are breathy yet high pitched in the most annoying way.

In the end, shockingly, she was kind of honest about Tom- she used him and left him before he could leave her and he should have known.

Kevin Spacey using being accused of trying to rape a 14-year-old to come out is one of the most disgraceful things I’ve ever witnessed. 

For centuries people have smeared queer people, specifically gay and bi men as predators and dangers to children. So for Spacey to respond to allegations is only going to add fuel to the fire that queer men are out to get kids. That we shouldn’t be parents, or teachers, or even be left alone with kids. 

Just watch, large swaths of the religious right, especially the evangelical right, will use this opportunity to go after us. They will use this as an excuse to defend the ban on trans people serving in the military. They will use this to back up their bogus claims of “religious liberty” when they discriminate against queer people. 

Fuck you, Kevin Spacey. You are walking excrement.
